On a SEC Hot or Not list:
NOT
Belief in Auburn: Obviously, those on the Plains are the only ones who have any genuine belief in this Auburn football team. The Tigers are reveling in proving the “haters” wrong. They’re coming off a huge win at South Carolina and continue to be masterful at finding ways to win. Gene Chizik has now won his past 10 games that were decided by a touchdown or less.
So it's saying Auburn fans are delusional? First of all, I don't hear a lot of people expecting a National Championship, or even a shot at the SEC (despite being 2-0 at this point). And every sentence after that was a compliment to Auburn. How does anything there support the idea that no one should have any faith in Auburn, and only delusional Auburn fans are seeing anything positive?

I was typing up a vitriolic response to this douchebag, but after reading it again, I think he's saying people's confidence in Auburn is "not" hot. Meaning not many people believe in us despite our incredible success even when the goings get tough.

So that was a round-about, confusing-assed way of saying we're underrated?
I genuinely was asking the title of this thread. I saw that and was genuinely confused by what he was trying to say.

I agree with you. At first glance, I was like "Fuck you". Then I was like, ok.

I understood what he was trying to say.

Still doesn't make much sense that were "NOT" hot then.

At first glance it appears to be saying we're a paper Tiger, but I think it reads (maybe through orange and blue glasses) that the non-believers are the ones that are not paying attention.

What's not "hot" is "belief in Auburn" at least outside of Auburn.

I guess so.
How complicated can one paragraph get?

Ever try reading an appellate court decision, or some of our state laws?

Or just any state or federal law.
Seriously though, this is a a freaking who's hot column in football.

If you read it the way I read it is says "Belief in Auburn is not hot, but the fact is, they just win close games, and continue to win despite all the issues." But yeah, it takes looking at it a time or 2 to get that.
