Post by: Kaos on October 01, 2011, 09:52:36 PM
I know that I know nothing about this game called football.  That is all.

I know that our team with Russell Wilson at Quarterback would be fucking scary.

Or it could be Cam's fault because he didn't stay. Wilson plays for Wisconsin. Cam Plays for the Panthers. Get over it!

Just think if we had both.

I'm still wondering what happened to the offense of Tulsa, the same one Todd ran, the innovated, motion heavy, multiple faking with reverses, wheel routes, crossing  patterns and sundry other elements.
I like dive plays as much as anyone, but this is a far cry from what we saw before Cam arrived and I think most of us expected to see us revert back to the original No Huddle utilizing our top flight talent.

...sigh

Has CGM play calling gone stale?  Is it me? but we don't seem to be running anything new. The play we scored on I saw last year in turd town. But it scored then so???????

And I'm not one to think Malzahn has to take a HC job as a natural progression just to fulfill everyone else's idea of what any coach should aspire.  He's a different sort. He might leave and there is no saying the guy would be successful in a much more demanding role. He's an offensive genius. And I'm supposed to believe he must go through the task of multiple hiring of staff members,  recruiting, speaking engagements (man he seems to embrace this) talk shows, staff meetings, team meetings, charitable functions, commercials, baby kissing, autograph sessions, disciplining players... I don't know I just don't think he is somehow complete with all of that and more but I guess a couple of million more can be the motivating factor.

Lattimore:

"We was going up against a great defense, good defensive line and linebackers.  We just did what we could do.  I knew coming in it was a good defensive front.  We just kept running what we practiced. They out played us on defense."

He make me laugh.
