Title: Blindingly obvious...
Post by: Kaos on September 17, 2011, 10:34:24 PM
Wow.

ESPN is breaking down individual plays and showing just how bad the defense fucked itself in the rectum.   It's humiliating.

Our own radio announcers are reduced to savaging the effort.  Quentin Riggins is ready to put the pads back on himself.

I understand that losing is part of the game.  You're not going to win them all (very often).  You're going to have days where things just don't go right.

I'm not mad.  I'm not depressed.  I didn't throw anything.  I didn't kick anything.  When the game was over (I was a bad fan and bailed with time on the clock) I went to cut grass.   My wife expected me to skip going to dinner and a movie because I'd be mad, but I surprised her.  Went.  Had a good time.

I'm ambivalent, I guess, because anybody with one eye and half an ear saw this coming from a long way off.  This wasn't a bad game. This was the culmination of a trend.  I've been expecting it.

I'd really like to know how many teams and players have had career days against Auburn in the last three years.  It's a fuckton.  It's like every team has a Talley.  Backup quarterbacks at Arkansas. South Carolina receivers. A dozen Clemson freshmen. It's a long list.

I guess the most disappointing part is that we've all known this was coming and it just doesn't seem like anybody took the necessary steps to prevent it.  It didn't have to happen.

Be interesting to see how they respond.

FWIW?  I just for the first time saw Dabo's post-game bullshit.

Fuck that ridiculous assclown.  I hope Clemson loses every game that butt munching cocksucker is there.

Fuck him.  Fuck him until his dog bleeds.

I started surfing porn with  about 10 minutes left in the 3rd otr. Wife came home and we fucked. :aubie:

I wasn't mad I knew this would happen but I was highly disappointed. We need to win every game we can this year and that was a winnable game.

Btw Clemson just converted a third down. They are now 34/36 on 3rd downs.

I thought going into the game that I didn't care if we won or not.  This game didn't matter at all unless we were about to go on some unexpected run to the BCS championship game.

I just wanted to see more improvements.  We still struggled on defense, but we seemed better against Miss State.  I thought it was something to build on.

Today was a hole in the hot air balloon.  We've crashed.

120th in the nation.  Dead last.

That's unacceptable.

Just doesn't make sense.  The poor defense and mistakes have piled on for three years.  Fuck the they're young bullshit, we have loads of talent on the team.  They are fast and highly rated recruits.  Poor tackling and not looking for the ball in the air are all mistakes that point to coaching.  This is not the first of this shit, it should be getting better not worse especially with two defensive minds on the staff.

After watching LSU and State I thought that it was part of our game plan with the offense being structured the way it is.  LSU totally dominated States offense but couldnt pit as many points on the board.  We put points on the board but can't get our fucking offense back on the field, it will never work in the SEC.

I miss the days of having a lights out defense.  Chizik was a part of one of those defenses in the past why can't. We have the best of both worlds.

I don't miss 3-2

But I hear what you are saying, shit I will settle for a mediocre defense. Fuck how about a defense that can stop someone 50% of the time on 3rd downs.

I think Snaggle, Buzz, his bird, Frodo and Myself could have held them to less 3rd down conversions.

I knew the streak was going to end sometime, and I thought this might be the game before it started.  We jumped on them early and I thought to myself, streaks stays alive, the physical practices are paying off.  Then it happened.   We started playing like we have for the past 2 seasons and the first two games of this season.  I'm not mad that we lost, not disappointed that we lost.  Shit happens to the best of them.  What does piss me off is what others have pointed out.  We don't tackle, we don't look for the ball in the air, we don't get off the field on 3rd down....etc....etc....etc.....

We have a head coach that had top ranked D's here and at Texas as a coordinator,  but yet as a head coach, we are dead last in the nation on D.  Something isn't right, I don't know if it is Roof, the position coaches, or Chiz.  Maybe a combo of the three?

I beg the differ on that. Today their Malzhan was better than our Malzhan. If not for that, I think you guys could have held them.
