We were ahead by an entire touchdown against Mississippi State when we stopped them on the goal line, right? Sans going for two, they were trying to tie to take it into overtime.
And if they did take it into overtime, they weren't guaranteed the win, were they?
I remember in ESPN's recap of the game, they had some statistic saying Auburn had won 30 or whatever games by a under soever many points, and they had a little * saying that the last however many was by less than a touchdown. I'm pretty sure we won that last game by a solid touchdown.
I bring this up again because I have heard multiple times since then about how we should not have won this game. Mississippi had it won, and fucked up late. They played the better game the entire time, they just gift wrapped it by tripping over their own feet instead of punching in the game winning touchdown. Heard this last night when listening to my little brother's minor league baseball game in New Hampshire because they mentioned he played college ball at Auburn. Heard it for the entirety of my car ride this morning by the New Orleans sports talk guys as a means of sunshine pumping to their listeners that they had this game in hand. I really hope MSU gives LSU a run for their money, and it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if they lost. But I digress...
WTF is with everyone's revisionist history with Auburn? Anything to discredit us, goes.

You have to understand that if they'd have scored, they would have either gotten the 2 pt conversion to win, or won in OT...it's a given.
Also have heard that the State RB really got in the play he dove and was ruled out of bounds at the one, but the booth didn't review it. A MSU fan calling Finebaum said had that been LSU or bammer they'd have reviewed it, and by extension, of course awarded them the TD, and also by extension the 2 pt conversion or OT win, thus the refs stole it from State. Moron fails to understand they review every play, and the replay showed he didn't make it.
Same moron crybaby also said they simply gave us the ultra close first down measurement, but we were really short.
Of course Mullen is an idiot for running the ball last play instead of passing with that sure fire passer Relf. And of course they hadn't gashed us all day with the run either...completely moronic call by Mullen the othewise genius that orchestrated Florida's 2 NCs and Utah's perfect season while Meyer just watched and played HC.
Fact is, if you're willing to whine and cry enough, you can make any scenario up you want and make it true. Reference Cam Newton's situation. Heard Finebaum and that same State caller talking about "all the tapes of Cecil demanding money that they know other's have heard" (but have NEVER been heard by anybody else) Reference the whining about Nick Fairley being allowed to play football after being flagged for a late hit vs UGA. All late hits on QB's result in players being executed on the spot and never being allowed to play again, except when everybody is on Auburn's side.
Losers always got cheated...LOSERS always have an excuse...fucking LOOOOOOOOOO-SERS!

I remember Julio Jones setting illegal pick blocks in the 2009 Iron Bowl.
There's always something to whine about. Miss State fans just aren't good at it.
ESPN? Fuck them anyways.

Secretary in my office came in Monday and said, "Mississippi State scored on that last play. They really won that game."
What? Did you watch the same game I did?
I didn't watch the game but my son did and he said the guy definitely scored.
Go get me some coffee.

All you here is "with the way they were driving the ball" they would have beat us in OT. They needed the 2 to win, "with the way they were playing they would have got the two".......yada, yada, yada. Fuck that noise, we stopped them and that was it.
Now, I hate LSU about as much as I hate anyone else......but after the way Mullen acted like a bitch in his interview on Rivals, not shaking Chizik's hand after the game, fuck him in da mouf. I hope LSU beats them so bad that they lay down for the rest of the season.

Fuck Mullen. If LSU hangs 90 on them, it couldn't happen to a better person.

The Mississippi State team that held LSU to ONE touchdown last night is the same one we scored FIVE on, right?
Just making sure, because the same talking heads talking about how Auburn squeaked by a nobody are now saying that this utter beatdown LSU put on MSU is proof positive that no one's going to step in their way of a National Championship.

LSU won by 13.
AU had a 14-point lead with about six minutes left in the fourth.
I'm okay with that.
-
LSU was also called for a chop block during the game last night

Since it's not AU, write it off as "shit happens in the trenches". If it's AU, it's dirty play and coached that way.

Speaking of LSU O-linemen....I has connections. Josh Williford is #74 and one of the biggest lineman on their roster. He's from rahcheer in Dothan and I done know'd him since he was a youngun'. He played at Houston Academy, a private 2A school and I don't think a lot of schools were on him because of that. The guy really transformed himself with a big time college training program. He was just a big ole fella. Now his 6'7" 325 pound self commands respect when he walks in. He was blowing the doors off some bulldogs last night.

I remember big Josh Williford, Coach Tuberville and staff didn't offer...LSU did and he committed shortly after. Coach Chizik and Staff came in and offered, but he wasn't going to go back on his commitment to LSU...would've been nice to have landed the monster from Dothan.

Meh. Snaggle says he blows dogs. Might wreck team chemistry.
