I fully understand it was Utah State and I'm aware that overall, Auburn suxxed large mule cock Saturday. However, one thing that gave me a tingly feeling in my crotchorial region was looking at the number of playas this offense has that can light it up quickly. I think by the end of the year, we may be saying this offense has more weapons (As far as sheer numbers of weapons) than 2010. No, not as experienced as last year but a ton of bad asses just the same.
Tre Mason obviously showed out with over 170 total yards. We already know that OMac can take it to the house at any given moment and that Dyer is one of the great backs in this league. Emory Blake? Oh yeah. Trevante Stallworth left several jocks on the ground and Trovon Reed showed some flashes of what he can do. You throw in a Lutzenfruchenschlupstein and there's no one on this team that will get double coverage. So ultimately, Fro-throw really just needs to stay within the system and distribute teh foosballz to the playmakers.
It wasn't all bad Saturday.

I'm just guessing here but I believe Malzahn just got a stubborn streak in him and decided damn the consequences, we're going to run the ball early on. In the meantime, the defense went full on tard and the Faggies got momentum. Plus, he may not have felt comfortable letting Fro-throw fling the ball around early. Anyway, I'm sure he sees that this thing isn't going to work unless he starts using all these weapons frm the get-go. Damn sure opened up the running lanes when he started hitting all those receivers.

Part of it is the coaches have to figure out what is going to work too. We found a few things that work on offense this week and that will continue to grow (hopefully) as the season progresses.

True. O-Line issues can be worked around...the D-Line issues...not so much.

Sure they can...by letting the opponent score faster, the offense can get onto the field even quicker.

I can see the headline now...
Auburn won today, by having the ball first and last...Final Score 114 - 110.

This year's team might be a pass first to set up the run. Polar opposite from traditional thinking of Auburn Football.
