Title: The best thing I saw yesterday...
Post by: Kaos on September 04, 2011, 08:15:58 PM
I was impressed to watch our fans yesterday as Utah State trudged to their locker room.  Everybody on that end of the field (and there were still a lot of people there) stood up and applauded them as they left.

I've been to games in a lot of places and I can't imagine the fans in other towns doing anything similar.

The Utah State players deserved the applause and I was glad they got it.  They played a tremendous game.  Or either we sucked really bad, I don't know.

Holy shit.  Did I write that?  I'm changing it.  I just finished reading some ode to how great Bama is because they have THREE RUNNING BACKS and I guess it was stuck in my head.

We met a couple in DFW on the way to the game and saw them in ATL when we landed. She was in a wheel chair. Saw them in ATL as we were leaving, she said to a person that the AU folks were the nicest people they had ever been around. That people offered to help her and that someone gave here a necklace that said U-state.

That made me feel better than the game.
