...on BSPN. Jesus... Seriously? WTF?
-
Who is Danny Sheridan?
-
Outside the Lines doesn't come on on Fridays.
Where you get this info?
-
What is BSPN and what's the format?
-
Who is Danny Sheridan?
Most crimson necks call him Danny Sheraton.
-
Whatever.
Knowing OTL, it will be a piece on how some schools get away with cheating.
Sheridan will come on to say that it's common knowledge that Cam was purchased and that sources within the NCAA confirm it.
OTL will then highlight the HBO four, the Felony four, and Cam to discuss how some schools like USC and Ohio State are punished and some like Auburn get away with anything.
Just my guess.
-
A buddy just told me Sheridan was on Brando's show. Not sure what he said but I bet I could guess.

This twitter account chronicles it pretty well.

Finebaum will be joining Sheridan on OTL at 3.

Will you do some cutnpaste? Internet guard dogs don't allow teh twatters.

Of course, Tim Brando introduces Sheridan as "a long time friend", and recapped the situation starting with "our good pal Paul Finebaum".
Tim Brando: "In my opinion, all that Sheridan has had to endure has not been fair."
I wonder does @TimBrando care to disclose what university Danny Sheridan attended and supports?
Sheridan: "Reasonable people know that that's not the case, even if I went to school there in the late 60s, early 70s." Brando: "Right!"
Sheridan once again mentions "as an example" a "bank branch in Georgia".
Sheridan continues to declare that all he said was investigation is ongoing. He didn't. He said AU was guilty, may or may not be punished.
The worst part is that he continues the tenor that Auburn is completely guilty. He said he "felt bad" for the NCAA for no subpoena power.
Tim Brando is what he always has been: A broadcaster pretending to be a reporter and an analyst. And he's bad at all three.
-
Good ole Danny, Paul, and Tim.
-
Good ole Danny, Paul, and Tim.
The three Douchketeers
-
It just fucking started...Fuck Sheridan.
-
So he is actually on there?
Is it still the same crap:
"I do know who the bagman is. I have an insider. But I'm not telling. You have to believe me though. My track record is perfect. If you don't think so or want to challenge me on any of my statements, I'll put up a million dollars in a bet."

Yep, him and Finebaum. He said basically the same thing...

I'm so sick of you people questioning Danny's credibility. He offered to take a polygraph, people. Do you only choose to hear what you want to hear? A polygraph.
-
It was the same BS only funny thing was Bob Ley asked Danny About being a Bammer Alum. Danny said that didn't matter where he went to school.

Yup...Sheridan has a yellow face, literally.
Finebaum states that "everything is going wrong for Auburn, the SEC voted Spurrier as coach of the year...UT's Tennis player received SEC player of the year, things like that." (then finebaum shakes his little head).
Also, Sheridan knew about Pearl Harbor, 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, the Japan Earthquake, the F-5 Tornados, Ohio State, Oregon, North Carolina, Miami, LSU, etc....MONTHS before they happened, he's never breen wrong. The NCAA thinks that they know, he was told by his source "Deep Inside" the NCAA who the bagman is, the NCAA isn't sure about the person...they know who it is, I spoke with them yesterday.
-
Danny was saying the same ole shit.
Paul was talking about how credible Danny is. Said the New York Times backed it up with Pete Thamel's article about Julie-Roe Lache.
Mentioned how him being a bama fan has absolutely nothing to do with this, and the very notion is laughable.
"Danny doesn't need me to defend him, Bob, but where he went to school is not the issue here , the issue is whether Auburn bought Cam Newton, and a lot of people down here still think they did."
Doesn't think we'll ever "get to the bottom of this". "This is a very unsatisfactory investigation."
"A lot of people around college athletics believe Auburn has a tainted BCS National Championship. Of course, that may not be shocking when you consider what we were talking about prior to our appearance here. But it bothers a lot of people. A lot of people think that Cam Newton was paid to go to Auburn, not yet proven of course, but...the fact that so many things have gone against Auburn. Remember something Bob, the SEC coaches voted for Steve Spurrier to be the SEC coach of the year even though he lost twice to Auburn University. The SEC Athletic Directors voted for a tennis player from Tennessee whose name escapes me at the moment to be SEC Athlete of the year. That to me says a great deal."
-
Nothing has gone against Auburn. That's the funny part. In fact, everything has gone FOR Auburn.
This just looks like a sad attempt to ruin Auburn's recent success. A couple of butthurt Bama fans (Finebaum included).
If I wasn't so concerned with the intelligence level of our country, I'd write this off as nothing to worry about.
-
"How confident is your source that they can pin this down?"
"They're not confident, Bob, because, you made a great point. If someone...Lake doesn't talk in the Southern Cal case, there's no case. If someone doesn't talk in the Miami case, you have no case. You have no subpoena power. I personally do not think this witness will testify for fear of financial retribution."
-
Hopefully Chop's letter gets to Emmert right as he's hearing about this OTL episode.
This is ludicrous.
