The menswear story is "shameful reporting."
But he reads message boards to get ideas. :taunt:
How come Clay and Brooks are "particular websites" when both were regular guests and "intrepid sports reporters" from November to July?

Who is Don Klauser?

How is it "shameful"?
That's why this is all so fishy. It's not shameful. If anything, it was interesting and entertaining. A dude who enjoys going to Hustler events is hanging out with Alabama football players who are signing boatloads of merchandise and then seen going to dinner with them.
That's shameful?

Well yeah, but reporting it's not.

The big difference Finebaum says is that national reporters like Thamel were on the Auburn story.
They're not on Alabama, so that solves that.
Evidence be damned.
Kausler did say he didn't know if there was or wasn't anything to it.
Finebaum said if there was a story a reporter would get on a plane and go interview people. If Kausler doesn't know whether there's anything to it and he is a reporter (allegedly) why isn't he on a plane? Or a bus?

Scarbinsky and some other guy went to Tom's store. Tom said no comment and walked away.

What's fucking shameful is the blatent fear to call Saban out for whining about what's written about bammer, and instead calling a "legit journalist" to poo poo the same hacks and sites they fed off of for the Cam crap.

Hold the mother fuckin' phone here. I don't listen to PF that much but I specifically heard that hypocrit say, "If you are a reporter, you don't just drive over there and walk in the store to interview him. You do all your homework first."
Did he REALLY say that? Really?

Who is Don Klauser?
uat's Senior Beat Writer/Editor or whatever....he covers uat, so of course he's not going to say anything about TTown Tom and NCAA's investigation.

Kausler isn't interested in any story about Bamer and Fbomb's line of questioning is angled toward that end. How could that interview turn out any other way?

Exactly.
Kausler compared "these websites" to the National Inquirer. Do all of the inbred retarded bammers not realize that "these websites" inregards to the ttown Tom investigation aren't doing anything but commenting on the photographs of a uat Booster (he's a booster by NCAA rules, I don't care what the uat "compliance dept" says) being with A LOT of players that were current at the time, giving them suits, food, etc. "These websites" state what the photographs are and what the NCAA Rules are.....that's it, nothing more, nothing less.

I heard my obligatory 5 minutes of Finebaum yesterday, late in the show. A guy asked him what he thought about the styles of Travis and Brooks. In a nutshell, PF said they have done some great work in the past but have really missed the mark on this story. Not sure what Travis is trying to do. Poorly researched and written.

I haven't read much of either. But, in the case of T Town Menswear, they've done NOTHING that Finebaum doesn't do daily. Post pictures, and ask questions that suggest something hinky is going on. And, according to Finebaum, merely asking a question, isn't making an allegation. Like when he asks a caller if the caller thinks Trooper Taylor provides prostitutes for recruits, that's not an accusation, it's merely a question. Well, Travis and Brooks, have one upped Finebaum, and actually done the same thing and used pics to better "suggest" what answer the reader should come up with. Travis has never pretended to be a journalist that I know of. It's pathetic that Finebaum even tries to pooh pooh what they are doing, which is clearly in the name of getting hits (same as Finebaum getting ratings), and using the exact same tactics Finebaum does. Yet, Finebaum will tell you his show is about entertainment, and he's not being a journalist, then turn right around and call Travis and Brook's style "bad journalism". Or, in this case, invite someone else on to do it for him, so he doesn't look like such a hypocrite.

Exactly....which is why it is beyond me why some of you listen to that lowest common denominator infested shit of a talk show. Spare yourselves.
