I would do that to my son, tease him about going into the Alabama store. The difference is however, he wouldn't cry like a spoiled little brat right before I pick him up and coddle him.

I don't blame them for teasing the little guy about going into a store, I blame them for being horrible fucking parents that allow their child to act like a whiny little brat and then award him for it...
