Title: Is the Nicktator running a football program, or a gang of thugs?
Post by: JR4AU on June 28, 2011, 06:53:34 PM
Seriously, who's in charge in Tuscaloser, the inmates?  Is this a sign of the condition of the program?  What should we read in to this?

Where's the ardent demand to know what these players did to get suspended?  What are they trying to hide?

Izzy Gould is on it.  We should know the real truth in a few weeks centuries.

The dialogue is that Saban has just told these kids he's not going to tolerate any riff raff.

If anything, it's part of a larger problem with kids these days.

You've got:
-Robby Green
-Corey Grant
-Demetrius Goode
-Glenn Harbin
-B.J. Scott
-Petey Smith

To leave the team, plus

-Keiwone Malone
-Darrington Sentimore
Any others?

Suspended, just since the season ended a couple of months ago.

One of those players transferred to walk on at Auburn.

Reverse those roles and the plains are burning beyond a doubt. Chizik has lost control. Bunch of thugs, and the good kids are getting out of the asylum while they can.

Of the maybe 1 hour I heard of Fbomb yesterday, and the OD this morning, I heard nothing about this.

I heard Finebaum mention the official announcement of their suspension right before a commercial break.  They came back from the break and he mentioned it again.  Then they immediately went back into "celebrity experiences" from the callers.

We dont have a Shane to make a Federal case out of it every day for the next 6mo.

The fucked up thing is the last two days everyone has been analyzing and reanalyzing "what we can read into" Russel Wilson choosing Wisconsin over Auburn. WTF. We're in the top 2 for a top notch QB transfer, and when he only chooses us second out of 120 DI schools, there's something negative to be read into it? Some of the callers almost sounded disappointed he didn't pick Auburn because they didn't get a chance to use their wild assed Pay-For-Play theories they had lined up ready to go. But they mentioned them anyway. "Where did he get that money to pay back the Rockies, Pawwwl?? If he'da went to Awburn at'da been a real intristin querstion wouldn't it?"

And yet, not a word about the mass exodus in Tuscaloosa?

Not a word about a 4* RB huge recruit leaving to WALK ON at Auburn? When is the last time a player transferred from one school to the other, let alone left one to WALK ON at the other?

I'd say both of these topics are far more worthy of some over-analyzing if that's all there is to do on a slow week at the end of June.

Weren't these guys rumored to be up for "processing"?

Undisclosed violation of team rules with indefinite suspension.  Next step is booting from the team for failing to earn their way back.  Oversigning solved and Nick is a stern disciplinarian.

I thought, according to bammers, that disciplinarians PREVENT the players acting the fool, not simply suspend them or kick them off the team when they do.  At least that's the standard they apply to Auburn coaches.
