I've read a couple of bookd about this guy.  Stone criminal, but an interesting life. 

If you ever watched Brotherhood -- about the Rhode Island mob, and a very good highly underappreciated show -- there were similarities between Tommy and his brother.

Brotherhood is pretty good. Like the Sopranos but Irish guys instead. Ironically, its a tad more boring to me. But still worthy.

I just saw a documentary on Whitey about a month ago on A&E.

K, or anyone really, If you have a DVR, record the series Mobsters on Biography, A different Mobsters Bio everynight......
