Title: The duplicity of finebaum
Post by: Kaos on June 22, 2011, 06:39:50 PM
Only heard five minutes of his show today but it was enough .

Wants nothing more to do with the Tigerette discussion and now feigns offense.

Only lets the "great show, Paul, love what you do" crew on the air.

Attacks Arute -- who blasted him -- and tries to make it a South Vs. The World fight.  Pathetic.

The one thing that stood out during his self-righteous babbling was this statement:

"He may be backing off now, but the comment is out there. You make a strong statement or allEgation like that I've always said that's what you really think. "

Really?  How many allegations has that fuckface made and then sidestepped?  How many on Tuesday?

People are idiots.

I heard about 5 minutes.  He tried to lie and say he didn't take part in the shit flinging at the Tigerettes.  Same stupid bullshit: "I don't engage in it, I just let the callers have their say".  Bullshit, I heard the smart assed remarks after the Tigerette called in.  "Yeah, I'm sure all they do on recruiting visits is drink milk and cookies", and agreeing with another caller yesterday that said the Tigerette must be hiding something if she felt compelled to call in and defend them.  Yes Paul, I was listening, and you did participate.  Yes Paul, last week you did insinuate that Trooper Taylor provides whores for recruits.  The fact that you framed it as a question doesn't change that, nor does your insincere regret about it today change it.  As you said, that's what you really think if you said it.

Those fucks...if you don't respond, you should come out and comment and it's because you're hiding something if you don't.   If you do respond, you're lying and protesting too much.

Quit giving finebaum publicity on our forum... This is exactly what he wants... It doesn't matter what any of us think of him... As long as the checks clear... Personally with so many other sports talk shows to listen to why would I even waste my time listening to him?

I usually agree.

But something's different right now.  Things have gotten a lot more serious.

Some very classy, sweet girls who do innocent work for Auburn University have had their names dragged through the mud and the reputations turned into prostitutes-for-hire.

And Finebaum is not only providing the open forum, he's encouraging the hound dog behavior from his imbecilic callers.

Not only that, but the first time since I started listening to him, he is on the defensive. He may not have been knocked down, but he has a cut over his eye...and he is pissed about it...

I listened to a little Finebaum today (which I normally never do) and then switched over to the local sports guy in Huntsville, Johnny Franks.  If anybody was listening around 5:30 I was Brian from Huntsville who called in to say, "I was listening to another sports call in show.  I just wanted to say thanks for not pandering to the lowest denominator and running with every sports blog rumor." He laughed and said thanks.

To those of you who play the "don't give him any publicity" card I mean no offense when I say please yank your head out of your ass.

Do you have any children?  Have you ever had children?

These motherfuckers are like children.  They're looking for boundaries.  They want to be punished.

Say something that Nick Saban doesn't like and he'll rip you a new asshole in the press conference.  Stallings the same.  Shula was nicer and calmer.  So was Bill Curry.  They ate their ass alive and kept them from ever being able to succeed.

What do our people do when fuckers like Brooks and Finebaum go public with baseless accusations that Trooper Taylor is a pimp, whoring out Auburn students?  What did they do when Cam was being crucified?  What was their response when HBO drug out five fucking losers looking for another four minutes in the spotlight?

They do nothing.  They ignore it because it's the Auburn way.  Well FUCK-A-MIGHTY, that way's not working. The shit gets worse and worse and worse and worse and worse every single fucking year.  It was fucking HELL in the 70s, it tapered off a bit when the bastards weren't winning, but since the day Saban set foot on their cursed ground and Paul Finebaum attached his lips to Saban's ass, it's back and as bad as ever.

If nobody steps up and calls bullshit on these motherfuckers they'll keep on.  They're not going to get tired of fucking with Auburn and move on.  They'll finally quit when they taste blood in their mouth because somebody knocked the fuck out of them.

If it's the Never to Yield Foundation doing the fuck-knocking, well god bless those motherfuckers and their kin.  If Jay Jacobs wants to pop his melon head up and make a strong statement I'd be right behind his ass cheering him on.

"Rising above" only works when your opponent has character.  None of the fucks aligned against Auburn right now do.

Motherfuck.

Amen.

What utter fucking bullshit.  My daughter stopped putting her fingers in her ears and going "lalalalalalala" whenever she didn't want to hear something when she was five years old.

Yeah.  We'll pretend it was never said because Mr. Brooks is a nasty man.  What an effective strategy.

Ignorant fucks.

I'm starting to get fired up again.   These fucks raped our women.  Not literally, but figuratively.

So we're going to ignore them?  Yeah, that'll show the bastards where the boundaries are.

They're motherfucking bullies.  When was the last time ignoring a bully worked?  You got to PUNCH that motherfucker.  Every time he comes at you, hit his ass with a rock or a tire iron or a roll of quarters in your hand.  You hit him enough and he'll figure out where the line is, quit fucking with you and go find some other high and snooty bastard to pound on.

Bullies stop when you show them you won't take it.
Kids learn where the boundaries are because you set them.  You can't just ignore shit and hope your kids figure it out on their own.

Fuck this high road nonsense.  Even God gets aggravated after a while and throws some righteous judgement down.  Are we better than God?  Bring the fucking thunder.

Fuckin' A!

Bammers, this particular ilk anyway, won't fight fair.  They hit you, you turn the other cheek, they'll kick you in the nuts, kick you in the mouth while you're yacking your guts out, then kick you in the kidneys.  Turning the other cheek won't work.  You kick their asses, and they'll go hire a bunch of Guidos to kick your ass for them.  That's EXACTLY what's been going on since November, only they saw the ass whipping coming and hired Guido before the ass kicking and still got their asses kicked.  Now it's them that has taken it to levels not previously seen.   You have a fan base, most of which (those 40 and under) only knows bammer as just another team, but knows what their pappy and grandpappy told them about "tradishun" and "nasheenul championchips every year" and have learned to pop off about something that is half made up in the first place, and that they've only read about in books, or seen on one of those dumbass "bammer classics".  The kind of idiot that thinks that a 25 year span that ended 30 years ago, is more important in defining the two programs NOW, than the last 30 years is.  HELL, THEY THINK THE LAST 30 YEARS MEANS NOTHING.  And Auburn winning the BCS was the last straw.  They still had that until January.  We could beat them on the field, and they'd come back with talk of a half a NC 50 years ago, and their 438 National Championships and the world greatest coach.  We beat them on the field, and they'd puff their chests out and say "It's only because we suck, and that's all y'all care about is beating bammer".  Well FUCK YOU bammers.  It's not your sandbox, it's not your mountain.  We'll play in it, and kick your asses.  If you claim king of the mountain for a day, you better look down, because we're coming for your asses, and we'll knock your toothless, mullet head off it and we'll plant Auburn's flag there, JUST LIKE IT IS RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.  Try to reclaim it, and you got a fight on your hands, AND YOU'RE FUCKING PROVING YOU DON'T HAVE THE FUCKING NUTS TO KEEP THE FIGHT ON THE FIELD.  That's what's happening right now, except instead of trying to reclaim the mountain top, you're at the bottom of the mountain screaming "It's our mountain, and it's a birth right, and we'll blow the fucking mountain up if y'all don't come down and give it back to us, the rightful owners!  FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Y'ALL!

I can tell you that not everyone on AE is happy about how the AE mod is handling this Tigerette and Brooks thing. I have received a couple of emails about this already this morning. I'm with Kaos on this too. Its stupid to pretend and place ones head firmly in the sand. I can understand the point of not going to the guys site and putting money in his pocket but seriously, after while something needs to be said or done; not ignore it. I can tell you this, if some sorry ass out here kept opening his mouth over and over again about someone in my family, damaging their credibility and character in the process, I'm gonna punch a motherfucker. I mean I have patience but after a while that somebody is gonna learn that spewing garbage about one of mine isn't such a great idea.

This. Right. Here. Talking about finebaum only helps him.  If we are to hurt him we gotta take some kinda action, not just bitch about it on tigersx.  So quit bitching and start suing! I'm gonna do my part by not listening to him, not cause I'm better than anybody, but that show makes me upset, why the hell would I listen?

Quick question on the litigation.  Who are you guys talking about filing the suit?  We don't have standing to file any suit.  If these girls were harmed, which they have to prove, they or their parents could bring an action....but only them.

BULL--FUCKING--SHIT.

"not listening to him" is so fucking effective.  He's going to care so, so much.

Telling the bastard on no uncertain terms that we're not going to tolerate his shit any longer is what works.  You not listening has no impact.  Does zippo, zilch and squat.

If all you do is "not listen" ...

Ahhhh.... fuck it.  Not worth explaining if you don't see the utter fucking futility in that response.

Then quit bitching about him and fucking do something about it.  All you do is bitch about him day after day, which only gives him free publicity, which could lead to better ratings.  And all he gives a damn about is the ratings.  Nothing more nothing else.  He wants you to get all fired up about him kaos because if he was boring no one would fucking listen or care.  In fact I'm gonna listen and play the game how long does it take for finebaum to piss off kaos. I'm setting the over/under at five minutes and I'm taking the under. Later

What you call "bitching" I call informing.  People have to know what's going on so they can make decisions on how to confront it.

If you'd lived during the days of the American Revolution you'd have been aggravated at Paul Revere for making all that fucking noise.

I guess when people in Germany complained about the Nazis, you wished they'd just ignore them.

[For the record, I opted to invoke Godwin's Law just to get it out of the way early]

People like you piss me off way more than Finebaum ever could.  I understand where he's coming from and what he's trying to accomplish.  I know his agenda.  I don't understand you shoving your head six feet into the sand and pretending that helps.

All in?  Or only when you deign to soil your hands?

Not that anyone is saying everybody needs to listen to the guy.  But, avoiding it altogether does nothing either.  That's simply your personal choice.  Won't affect him at all unless the masses join in.  Not gonna' happen.  The problem is, for some strange reason, PF has not only his national Sirius audience, he is continuously being given a platform on the biggest national TV/Radio shows.  He's always on ESPN, Brando etc. being allowed to spew his venom.  Why?  Who knows?  But wasn't it within the last 2 weeks that he went on some ESPN show and talked about the NCAA still investigation "Real allegations" against AU?  K, didn't you report that?

So, bottom line, the guy needs to be called out for his shit, just as he does everyone else, warranted or not.  He's not going away, but he doesn't need to go unchecked.

Oh but now that the guy quoted the same article I just posted in there, according to Finebaum the guy "was calling Saban a serial killer in his first call". Give me a fucking break. The guy said he's a hypocrite in about the nicest calmest way possible.

That's it, he has to be checked when he says too little, or too much. He can't be beaten in his environment...he's like the night court judge with cronies hanging around and a bailiff that laughs at all his stale jokes. He will shoot his mouth when there's no challenge as he did at BSC, yet he can defend and cut up an easy opponent like that rock head from Orlando attacking Cam. That did wonders for his resume. So does the emceeing for tornado victims. True, he isn't going away but I agree, he needs to be called out when he gets out of line or the madness just reciprocates. It's also possible that he will step in something regrettable, not necessarily connected to Auburn. It's not likely but it could happen.

I'm not sure why they need so much personal info, but I filled it out.  I hope I got the specifics right.

Don't worry. I'm sure between yours and the other 15,000 others they'll receive, it'll get reported okay.

Today Finebaum scoffed at the Chizik book.

Stretched to make fun of the fact that he was promoting it in New Jersey "because, yeah, that makes sense for an Auburn coach to promote his book where all Auburn coaches go to promote their books...New Jersey".

Scrutinized a line from the book in which Chizik said Newton should be remembered as a phenominal player at Auburn and a great person.

Jim called in following that and venomously snarked that that line made him sick. "Just disgusting, if that ain't the biggest used salesman bullcrap you've ever heard..."

They went back and forth about how Chizik himself couldn't believe the success he just had. "People pay players all the time, but they don't all win National Championships." And then added the obligatory "I'm not insinuating he paid any players, I'm just saying..." with a chuckle.

Fuck him.

All this talk of Finebaum being critical of Auburn.  It's shocking.  Next thing you know they'll be taking calls saying we're actually a western Georgia school.  That would hurt.

Just made a joke about how he deserves credit for Bama's National Championship because he got Shula fired. Had to throw in a joke about "Do I get three rings like Auburn?"

Yes, dumbfuck.

You need to tweet that to him... Avoid being called ghey for doing it though.

Good find!  They look kinda expensive too.  Are we all sure they met the NCAA requirements on how much they're worth?

Not Auburn bashing, but illustrates the stupidity from that show. A caller just called in to bitch about South Carolina's helmet with the state of Alabama with a big red X through it. Paul said he heard they had something to honor Alabama for the recent tornados. This caller said "Well I don't know what you saw, but a state with a red X in it seems pretty negative to me." And that was the end of the call.

Apparently the dumbfuck does not know what his own state flag looks like...

How about just seeing the thousands of those flags seen all across the state.  We're talking about Udykes.  School?  Pffft.

Thats why I am amazed the Updykes know whats in Chiziks book. Hell, the only reason they know he has a book is because Finebaum told them.

Can't believe this is just dawning on me, but the only reason Finebaum ever defended Cam on ESPN, is because he was invited on ESPN to defend Cam. They invite two pundits. One to shit all over Cam, and then one to defend him. Point counterpoint. So who do they go to to defend a player? The logical choice would be a member of the "home cooking" media in his home state. ESPN doesn't get it.

If he never defended Cam, they move on to Kevin Scarbinsky. Finebaum wants to get on ESPN for ratings.

Code cracked.

Today Paul is proudly touting that he was placed as the #1 most hated man in the SEC (ahead of Cam at #1) by a "top publication".

He later divulged that this "Top Publication" was the Bleacher Report...

Are you fucking kidding me?

He obviously must not even realize that Bleacher Report is like MySpace for bloggers. Literally any asshole who signs up for an account can post articles.

Citing Bleacher Report as if it's a legite journalistic organization again.

This time "they" have named him the most influential something or other. He's gloating about it.

Someone should write a BleacherReport article about the moon landing being fake and that the Earth is flat, and Paul Finebaum has Goat AIDs and send him a link to that legitimate media.
