Reading portions of that What It Means to Be A Tiger book. 

This line from Smokey Hodge in his narrative cracked me up:

"Alabama recruited me, but Ray Perkins was an asshole.  I wasn't going there"

I thought Bear Bry....err, Bill Curr...um, Gene Stallin....wait, Dennis....dang,Mike Pr...Shula...no Lord Saybinz was the only asshole.

I knew Smokey. I was recruited by Perkins. My feelings to this day are the same as Smokey's. Ray Perkins was an asshole. I always wondered if anyone else felt the same way.

I got that book for Christmas.  EXCELLENT read for one and all.  Highly recommend.
