What is your understanding of how long our men and women will be in Iraq, Afghanistan etc.? Asking because my brother in law just got the word he'll be headed back to Baghdad in July for a year. It seems that everything I've been reading and hearing the past few months has been about getting our people home and Iraq pretty much saying it's time for that to happen.
Are we going to leave a smaller contingent of personnel over there and if so, wouldn't that make them more vulnerable? I mean, either we're (I hate to say "we" since I haven't done squat) all in or not IMO.
Thoughts?
