TALLADEGA, Alabama - Auburn head football coach Gene Chizik will be the grand marshal of the' Aarons 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Talladega Superspeedway Sunday April 17, 2011. Chizik talks about seeing the number 15 Toyota that will be driven by Michael Waltrip during the race with Auburn logo on the car celebrating their 2010 BCS National Championship. I made the mistake of going to the Dega race 3 years ago when Jeff Gordon passed Dale Earnhardt in wins. I feared for my life when he won. Not really, but it got crazy. Full cans of beer and whatever else they could get their hands on were flying over my head and onto the track. Gordon came back around after a victory lap and his car looked like it had been beaten with baseball bats. I have it all on video. It was nuts. Those inbreds care deeply about Bammer football and #3.

Maybe Daytona but never the shithole they call Talledega. I do agree on Sr though. He is right up there with the Bahr. Imagine if they could bury Sr right next to Bahr. Thats a money maker.

I was one of the first to note the coolness of the black leather jacket in his ESPN interviews back in Dec or Jan, but it's April, and it's time for a new look Chiz!

I actually thought about Smokey and the Bandit and decided to go another direction. You may say it was a called strike but a whiff it was not.
