Can't blame Shula for Jeremy Elder...Saban crooted him. http://blog.al.com/rapsheet/2008/02/ua_freshman_tackle_jeremy_elde.html
Shula gets the blame for Jimmy Johns, yet this was a year and a half after Shula left...please note the canned rhetoric from Saban that I honestly don't recall being torn to shreds like Chizik's.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/sec/2008-06-24-alabama-johns_N.htm
Saban dismissed Johns from the team almost immediately.
"This type of behavior obviously will not be tolerated and he is no longer a part of our program," he said in a brief statement.
Alabama players have been involved in a series of arrests and off-the-field suspensions, with Saban acknowledging the need for better discipline and judgment earlier this year after two players were arrested within days of each other.
"I've said enough is enough and we're trying to fix it," Saban said in February.
And then this? http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/03/report_aaron_douglas_pleads_gu.html
Does anybody even remember that name or incident? Maybe this is why: TUSCALOOSA -- Alabama transfer Aaron Douglas pleaded guilty Friday to DUI on Friday according to The Daily Times in Tennessee.
Douglas will have to serve 48 hours in jail before serving the rest of his sentence of 11 months, 29 days on supervised probation, the paper reported.
Douglas, 21, was pulled over in December after he ran a stop sign and was witnessed driving erratically, according to a police report. He refused a blood alcohol test.
Alabama coach Nick Saban met with reporters Wednesday, but was not asked about Douglas guilty plea.
Saban said in December about the incident, "We have ways to deal with that internally."

If Chizik said that bullshit, he'd be crucified in open public on one of the Toomer's trees.

When Saban says it, don't you fucking question the process.

A DUI before being signing or enrolling in college is equivalent to Robbery, Burglary and Theft of property by an enrolled player?
That's not a stretch.

Uber whif. I know you, you're not stupid enough to think I was saying that, and I know I didn't write anything like that.
By the way, the standard internet idiot would have said "So what you're saying is..." then followed it up by manufacturing what I said by pulling it right our of his ass to fit the response he wanted to give.

No, you didn't compare the 2, you asked why one is being blown up and the other wasn't heard of. I answered the question while emphasizing why it's that way. Douglas hadn't enrolled when he got his DUI which is why no one heard about it.
Actually, you didn't ask that question. But that's the answer.

No the question is/was why is it Saban's bad eggs are different from Chizik's? Jimmy Johns was selling drugs in the athletic complex at a volume that he attracted the attention of the local DTF. YOU know that's not something that happens because you get a dime bag for you and your buds for the party saturday night. He was charged with 5 counts of Distribution.
Jeremy Elder robbed a couple on campus at gunpoint...he was a Saban recruit. Surely there was a way to predict he'd do this...or at least that's the story if it's an Auburn player robbing someone.
Saban takes a transfer with a pending DUI, and reporters don't even asking him about it when the player pleads guilty and he later issues the statement that it will be handled internally. End of story.
Chizik has 4 thugs go rogue on him, and one with a history of minor issues that finally picks up a DV charge...all 5 are dismissed, and yet he's running a rogue program, the radio and net is full of "what is Chizik doing down there...what kind of program is he running?"
The question isn't comparing one to any other...the question is why is it ALL treated differently by EVERYBODY?

I just figured it was another battle on the war front.

NtY didn't attack anybody. It went on the defensive and it NOTIFIED advertisers of WZN of Auburn fan's displeasure at being attacked by a liar on the airwaves they were supporting with their advertising dollars. WZZN brass concluded Scott Moore wasn't worth losing advertisers over.
