Battlefield throws down the gauntlet to Call of Duty.  Gonna go head to head with it on release dates.  COD may be ripe to get knocked off the top of the hill since there is so much turmoil with the Activision fallout.

"There will be a couple hundred million dollars of marketing against these two products going head to head. We think we have the better product," Riccitiello added.

EA Games president Frank Gibeau echoed similar comments during GDC last month when he told us: "Everybody loves a heavyweight fight, and that's what this is going to be. We're here to compete."

I played the demo...at least I think it was for Mafia II and not Mafia I.

Anyhow, seemed like a fun game...just never went to rent it or pick up a copy.  Basically Grand Theft Auto with an Italian mobster theme.

I so wish I could pick up this game today.  Heard nothing but awesome reviews of the Beta.
