Title: A Needed Distraction - LSU and Arky

Did y'all see this?  Did I miss something?  Is our game still on this day too?  If so, how the hell is CBS gonna manage?  Which game will be first?  Stupid Battle for the Golden Boot is not nearly as big a deal as the Arhn Bowl.

Arkansas and LSU hope history repeats itself as their season-ending game has been moved to the date for the next two seasons

The Tigers look to be among the early championship contenders with most of their key players returning in addition to coach Les Miles. The Razorbacks will also have a lot of talent back, but must replace quarterback Ryan Mallett.

The date is not new for Arkansas and LSU. The schools had played on the day after Thanksgiving for 13 years from 1996-2008 before the Tide and Tigers took over. As with the previous games, the contest will be broadcast by CBS.

The Iron Bowl was moved to Saturday again... The Friday thing was a 2 year deal.

Thank you.  I missed that.  I was gonna be pissed if I had to share Iron Bowl day with Carl and the stupid Golden Boot.

Agree.  There fake rivalry is always going to be second tier to the Iron Bowl.
