Why have these people not evolved at all?

Go back and review the history of Rome.  America has already sewn the seeds of its ultimate destruction at the hands of these barbarians.

We have transitioned from a nation of warriors, vigilant and strong, to a nation of politicians and artists and thinkers.  We don't understand how they think, how they act and the lengths to which they are willing to go for their faith.  Rome thought it could negotiate with barbarians, too.

Rome fell because Rome ceased to do for itself.  We are already there.

Thanks for saving me from having to type that.

That and they were all crazy from their drinking water running through their lead plumbing.  But I agree with your statement.

I took a test recently for an extracurricular activity I was trying to get involved in.  One of the questions was, "Could you kill a single innocent person if it meant saving hundreds of lives?"  It was an easy answer.  YES.

During the post interview I was told that I had satisfactory results in all stages of testing aside from the verbal exam.  They proceeded to tell me that sacrificing any innocent life was unacceptable in any situation.

I still disagree, and when I take the test again in April, I'm going to answer it the same way.

I hope I never have to depend on any of them for any help.
