with you dwe.....I couldnt sleep either. Was up bright and early scouring the net and watching ESPNU. Won't get any work done today. dallas - since arena and AU is closed today, where you gonna catch the game up there? Let me know the scoop from up there. We'll definitely come up there if its available somewhere.

Got to work an hour ago.  So far, all I've done is make a list of things I gotta' do to get ready for the game tonight.  By the way, Publix has duck.  I purchased.  Will burn that bitch up and smile.

Not expected to get any work accomplished either. I starting getting a little concerned last night that if we did get an ice storm that the power would go out leaving me no choice to travel south until I found the game on TV. Its just cold and wet here in Eufaula, nothing to it.

We are now inside the 11 hour mark before the game. I'm getting more and more stoked as every minute passes.

I've got all you guys beat.  Since yesterday at 2pm when my original flight out of atl this morning (at 1030am) got canceled, I got another flight out of atl at 735pm sunday, got on it got all the way up to the runway and then they cancel the flight (cause of the snow) drove to jacksonville, fl to catch a 605am flight now I'm chilling in the airport in chicago waiting for my flight to phoenix which will land at 140! War damn eagle!

Other than tickets to the game, comped accommodations and air fare falling in my lap, the best scenario possible for me today.  Weather knocked out court this morning, Riley closed all state offices, but the power is still on, and it looks to be no more real threat of losing it.   Drinking a nice hot cup of coffee from my lucky game day Auburn mug after rolling out of the sack late, and all is well.  I'm feeling as good as I can not being there.

Damn, I just turned a one hour drive into a three hour drive in a humvee.  Looks like this will be the second year in a row that I will watch the BCSNC from the armory.  At least this year I care.

Like simp, we got nothing but a little sleet, rain and wind.  Schools and stuff were closed due to the threat of icey roads but that never materialized.  I'm taking off a little after lunch to start the preparations for the game day menu.  With my 2010-2011 lucky shirt and hat...baby back ribs, my world famous wings (World famous meaning in my house on that particular night) hot polska kilbasa, fine beer and burbinz...we cannot lose.

Just so I wouldn't upset the karma gods, I have my lucky AU shirt packed and will be wearing it with pride tonight.  No tailgating foods or alcohol though.  That sucks, so drink a few for me.   :bar:

From my understanding Event center (Opelika) will be open. 5:oopm- $2.00 beers. If not there going to Irish bread pub for sure. Just someplace thta has a TV and seels beer.
