according to bammers, when you have star players, that means it's back to 4 or 5 losses a year.

There will be drop off with all these guys, especially Julio. That's going to hurt the run game some as well. If Maze goes too, I will feel pretty uneasy with the WR corps. I think we have a good enough stable of RBs where they will pad the fall off from Ingram leaving somewhat. I'm just glad Richardson has one more year, otherwise I would panic a little there as well. Ingram staying would have helped in breaking in a new QB in 2011, but oh well. I think we will be OK on the DL.

He might as well. Another year in college ball isn't going to fix his bed wetting problem.

What do you, Token and No Huddle think about Maize?  I have got mixed reactions from your fan base.

I was talking to a guy earlier today about them.  I think that Maize has better hands than Julio or more consistent hands for the most part.  I still think of Julio as a kind of  receiver that does what has to be done.  Julio can get down field and block and he is big and strong enough to shed blocks and get open.  He is also big and strong enough to hit someone in the mouth.  He might drop passes when he shouldn't at times, but he can make some ridiculous catches as well.

Julio reminds me of Keyshawn Johnson.  Dominate in college, but will end up a better than average possession receiver in the NFL.

I heard this morning on the radio there will be a press conference at noon with Dareus, Julio and Ingram.  Don't see any benefit to any of them coming back.  All are NFL ready.

I like Maze and I think he will have a great year next year if he stays. Maze is fast but since he is on the shorter side he can't just curl up and block you out. He has to be moving to get open. Plus with Julio on the other side you have to feed Julio. You don't have to but you know what I mean. By no means do I think Maze or Julio are these NFL WRs but Maze is a Desean Jackson type and Julio is a Roddy White type. JMTC

Ingram, Julio, and Dareus all just confirmed they will be leaving for the draft. Donta Hightower will be staying. Maze is still probably trying to decide.

Maze is a good WR, and is fast as hell. Not a big guy, but he complemented the offense well opposite of Julio. Almost creates a "pick your poison" type matchup for the defense. I think he would do well in the NFL, but I can't see him being a high pick. Maybe 5th round? Some of our fans just don't see how he could think about coming out early, but I could definitely see it. Honestly, I don't see what coming back one more year would do for him. I would love for him to come back, but I just don't see what's going to change between now and the end of the 2011 season.

Thing about Maze....He's a very strong wide receiver for his size.  He is fast enough to get by the DB on a deep pass and he's tough enough to cross the middle and take hits.  He has probably been the most consistent receiver for Alabama, he just hasn't had the same looks from the QB as Julio.  Maze's drawback is size, and although I'd love to see him come back next year, he isn't going to grow any taller.

From what I understand, Maze and Barron are still considering.  Barron could improve his stock, I'm not sure Maze can.
