Title: AU Hawks
Post by: Snaggletiger on January 03, 2011, 05:12:52 PM
Made the mistake of watching some of the Yams/SeaSquawks game last night.  Bad football by two 7-9 teams in the worst division in history. However, it was pretty cool to see Will Herring make the game winning interception of Bradford at the end.  Also saw Ben Obewonaduwomano get in on the action.  Herring looked like a grown ass man playing linebacker.

You can't give 19 points for that.  This clearly falls in the +4-6 range.

WTF ever.  He did not get fouled outside the arc.

For some reason, this reminded me of last night when I was switching back and forth between games and came to the Harlem Globetrotters.  They use a 4 point box that teams can shoot from which is set about even with the time line.  One of the guys on the Trotters was nailing them from there.

Those guys and that same schtick still cracks me up.  Did the same dribbling exhibitions, the same water/confetti in the bucket trick, the same helium filled substitute ball and so on.  Didn't care.  It's still funny to me.
