Being reported Weiss to UF for OC job. Might be a good hire. Definetly some media hype for the SEC next year.
-
That's a good hire. Wise The Hut will make a really good OC.
-
Excellent thread title too.
-
I actually think this a great hire too. Wise will probably have full reign on the offense while Muschamp micro-manages the defense. I don't think fat fuck liked it in Kansas City.
-
Weis is a great OC. Not so good HC. People forget he is a lot of the reason the Patriots are the Patriots today. Dude made Tom Brady.
-
Anyone hear anything else on the whispers of Meyer to Ohio St?

No I think Tressel is solid but Muschamp's first hire sucks IMO and Weis is one episode away from CFB extinction.
-
The GameDay guys said HORRIBLE hire, as both BMF and Fat Boy are strong personalities, and Weis will think he is still a HC and will not want to defer to a wet behind the ears never been a HC before guy.
Fireworks may ensue...

Thiggidy This.
BMF is building a dreamteam that may surpass Chizik's.
Malzahn's no longer going to have the monopoly on the "Offensive Genius" label for recruits...

Egos and personalities are a valid concern for any coaching staff hires. Have to think both parties thought it all through on that issue. As for schemes...Muschamp seems like he's building a program he can sell to the kids that think they need to play in an NFL type scheme on both sides of the ball to have the best chance to get there. It's a good tactic IMO.

Except that Charlie Weis doesn't endear himself to families and prospects as Gus does.

Weis could not connect which was part of his problem. Can't doubt his smarts for the NFL but he needs a finished product to work with.
Muschamp is like a bottle of beserk.
Understand the likening to Chizik/Malzahn only our guys can confer during a game w/o a mediator.
