Title: Arkansas committing NCAA infractions?
Post by: War Eagle!!! on December 14, 2010, 01:44:45 PM
Bunch of cheaters. No wonder their recruiting class is ranked so high this year. Never mind, their class sucks again this year too.

This sounds somewhat similar to the secondary violations Auburn received during Big Cat weekend when they announced some of last years commits over the PA system; as though it was a game day.

They didn't annouce the prospects using the PA system.  They were annouced by a fan holding a mic, while rolling Toomer's.  Coach Troop then led them in singing the fight song.

Ummm yeah.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that every university has the players put on the jerseys and walk out onto the playing field.  Now, calling out their names over the PA, while coming outta the tunnel, that's probably a different story.

Having their names on anything other than a nametag basically is an infraction as well. Using the names in a gameday simulation, etc. If they hadn't put the names on the lockers, that would be fine. But using recruits names on lockers or a jersey is a no-no.

Are we talking ranking at the end of this year or a couple of years down the road?

I made a bet like this once.

It's been about a year since "Mr. Sensible" flew the coup.

I don't believe either of those "ranking" sites. I was just gigging you for the statement you made while we were ahead of yall in both of them at the time.

I gotcha...

The problem is, Arkansas has 23 commitments and Auburn has 14 right now....

Exactly. We're still gonna have a pretty good class I think. Should be top 20 when all is said and done. That ain't bad for lil ole arkansaw.

Timely opinion. I don't know who the fuck Michael Pinto is, but he's not one of our homers.

I presume that's a response to Bro. boartitz but I'm not sure what you're trying to say.  The "if" keeps throwing me off.  Are you betting that Hooot will have a better recruiting class than BMFP?  Are you betting that Hooot will "out recruits" better than BMFP?

Actually, it really doesn't matter.  Especially when shemp like this is already happening this year...

Quote
Sports 56 out of Memphis is just now reporting that Colonel Reb just had his two 4* DB's from Miami Southridge decommit.

I'm gonna say that's actual, real evidence that Florida recruits are blowing up Hooot's phone just like he said they would a couple of years ago.

The razorbacks have ten more commitments right now and are still barely ranked ahead of Auburn. Auburn has 14 commitments, which means that we can sign up to 13 more. I believe, that of the 13 left, Auburn will have at least 9 4*'s and 1 5*.

I like where we are sitting...

Nutt can't do anything pertaining to football better than Petrino. Or most other D1 coaches for that matter.

Sorry to drag this back to the top, but I REALLY don't think dj knows just exactly how so far beyond being a douchbag Hooot really is.  I've attached The Document that did in Hooot, PawPaw and, ultimately, John White.

In his FOI request, TM only asked for phone records that showed the contacts between Hooot, Brother Brain Bleed, their lil' sis - Theresa "Sarlacc" Prewett, and Hooot's wife - Diana "Leather Face" Nutt.  Rather than just providing the requested records, the UA decided to provide all the records they had, i.e. overwhelm the person requesting the documents by dumping a double-poop-pot-full of documents on them with the intention of having them look at the huge pile and say "phuk it."

I've always believed that there's a lesson to be learned from in every situation encountered in life.  The lesson to be learned here was that doing a "Document Dump" on someone who's job is to analyze data is not a wise decision.

I know it's a big PDF.  However, if you want to know the real story, or at least as much as been made public, you'll download it and give it a good read.  It draws no conclusions.  It just offers up information and allows the reader to draw their own conclusions.

No, you're right, I don't know but there is some pretty decent info on that at the woopie. I don't think any fan base knows the full extent but with a little time and patience to read, you can find out. Dude is a douch and I wish he would find a job out of the SEC.

Well that is true but I think that would be a chance that many would take. I'm wondering how long it will take before he is out at Oxford.
