-
Yeah lets put this at the top...Pushpin, or whatever.
-
What do you guys think about Tubberville to Miami?
-
Jon Embree is the new coach of CU.
-
Miami would be better off hiring Howard Schnellenburger back. Similar to what KState did with Coach Snyder. But, Coach Golden will do. I really like him...he's a no nonsense straight edge type of coach, he definitely won't be bringing back Thug U. It'll be interesting to see how he's able to do down there.

Holgorsen to WVU

Holgorsen to WVU
That one was interesting...OC and HC in-waiting for a year.
-
Jon Embree is the new coach of CU.
Didn't think that was confirmed yet. The AD is denying that he offered the job to Embree, but I think that he gets it eventually.
-
ESPN is reporting that Franklin is taking the Vandy job.

My bad. Saw that article on Sporting News this morning.

Damn, I didn't even think about him when I typed out Franklin.

Also, the Dana Holgerson thing...don't know how that's going to work out. Holgerson is a branch of the Mumme/Leach/Franklin "Air Raid" coaching tree. He's going to recruit to throw the ball, not run it like they've been used to at WVU. Herb Hand, IMO, would have been a much better fit, but isn't the big name. Could be his previous association with Rich Rod hurt him.

If they had waited one more year they probably could have gotten Rich Rod back.

Sorry for the total derail, but everytime I see this thread title I think of the following clip from Tosh.0.

Maryland HC -
Florida OC -
Florida DC -

Maryland HC -
Florida OC -
Florida DC -
And for the second time in a month, Pitt HC.

That guy only hit her because he loved her.
Guess you can check off Florida's OC opening...
-
UConn Randy Edsall to Maryland. Guess the Pirate is shut out again...
-
Texas DC - Manny Diaz (MSU DC)
-
Brady Hoke to Michigan
Todd Graham (Tulsa's coach) to Pitt.
So now we have two more openings, and the Tulsa one might be one our boy Gus takes a good long look at.
-
I've been reading that Al Borges is being reported as going with Brady Hoke to Michigan to be the OC.
-
I read somewhere that Gus was target #1 for Tulsa, but that they couldn't afford him.

Yeah, that's the key. Can Tulsa plunk down $1.3 for a coach? I have no idea and no clue if CGM would be interested. It appears he's turned down higher profile and/or higher paying jobs.

Gus's stock is reaching, or has already reached, a point where he won't have to go the C-USA route for his first gig. He's in big boy land, now.

Werd and This. If the pieces fall into place and a decent QB steps up next year (Trotter/Frazier) this offense could put up some sick numbers again. I think most "Experts" would recognize that doing it again next year, as far as having a potent offense, would be a far greater accomplishment than this year. Everyone knows his abilities but I'll bet there's still that "Yeah, but can he do it without Cam" mentaility in some people. We already know the answer.
-
Would just like to add, since no one is willing to say it, that TownHall is doing a shitty job of keeping this updated.

He's on JOX now. Glad to see Al back in a big time job.

Yeah, I really like Borges. Michigan is making some great hires in my opinion. It want be long till they give OSU a run for their money.

Might take a while to recruit some of the typical big boys Michigan is used to having on both sides of the ball
