Has anybody ever used them? May be my only way to get tickets?
-
I'm looking at ebay, and have even gone to craigslist.
Still looks like cheap tickets are 600-700.
I've booked my flight, hotel, and car rental. I'm wondering if I'll just end up scalping down by the stadium.
-
I've bought tickets from stubhub several times and never had a problem...they are owned by ebay and purchases can be made through paypal so you can file to get your money back should something happen..
-
We are shopping on eBay and Stubhub as well. Someone told me that Stubhub charges a 10% service charge on all
purchases. Is that true?
Do you guys think prices will fall in a few weeks after the inital surge in demand? I'm ready to pull the trigger and secure my tickets
but my friends want to wait it out.
-
I'm going to wait a week or so and see. Hoping that the prices might settle a bit after the initial euphoria dies down.

I think we are going to wait for maybe a week. I've been out voted, however I dont think I can get on the plane out
ther without a ticket in hand.
My crews seems to think that tickets will be readily available outside the stadium. These comments are based upon
their bammer friends experience outside of the Rose Bowl last year.
My rationale to them was based on stadium size, the Rose Bowl is what 100K+ compared to @70K in Glendale. There is
anywhere from 20-30K less tickets to the game this year.

That was my thought as well. Wondering if I should just pull the trigger on the $700.

We paid $850 per with service charge so I would say yes.

Buy them there. You will find plenty and will not pay too much. You will find tickets.

I gotta agree with this. Tickets get cheap five minutes before kickoff.

I don't mind doing this when I come back to Auburn-At worst I hang with friends at the RV site. I think its alot to go out there without tickets and an area I am not familiar with. I am going to wait also for about a week. I'll pay more for tickets to have piece of mind if I can get out there.

On the stubhub app on my iPhone, I can see 2 pairs going for 585/each, but I'm not seeing it on their website. Not sure if those tickets have sold or not, but it certainly looks like it's dropping a bit in the past day or so.
As a side note, I'm looking for 5 total tickets. Don't care if they are together, so if you guys are looking for 3, and can only find 4, keep me in mind for that fourth.

I buy tickets through StubHub and have only encountered a problem once. This years MissSt game. I had bought two tickets in the Auburn section and they were never shipped to me. I called StubHub the morning of the game and told them about my situation. They called the seller and told me that the tics would be a will call. They weren't there. I called them back and the conversation wasn't a very nice one, but they ended up crediting my account for the tickets plus shipping to use for any event I wanted. I ended up buying two from a scalper for $100. Not bad seats on the 40 but it was in the heart of the cowbell ringing section. I used my credit for two USCe tickets.
