Fuck you Gary Patterson.

No shit. The only SEC coach to vote Oregon #1. Also, Tubs voted us #1.

Looks to me that most of the HC's that were known for their offensive backgrounds voted Oregon(Fisher, Meyer, Harbaugh, etc) . The defensive minded coaches voted Auburn (Tubs, Beamer, Tressel). The only exceptions were the offensive coaches who played Auburn voted Auburn (Spurrier, Mullen, etc).

What is Urban Meyer's problem?

That didn't take long.
Late Saturday night in the Georgia Dome, I wrote a Hot Corner from Auburn's 56-17 SEC Championship Game rout of South Carolina. The subject: Florida might continue to say it's glad that Cam Newton left two years ago, but don't believe it.
The headline: "Expect more sour grapes from Gainesville."
Urban Meyer served up a big, fat, juicy grape Sunday. The Florida coach was the only SEC coach that didn't vote Auburn No. 1 in the final USA Today poll.
The other SEC coaches with votes all put Auburn at the top of their ballots. It didn't matter that Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Petrino, Mark Richt and Dan Mullen all lost to the Tigers this season. Spurrier was 0-2 against them. It didn't matter that Mullen lost Newton to Auburn in recruiting him a year ago.
Those guys recognized that Auburn went 13-0 against by far the toughest schedule of the three unbeaten teams, the others being Oregon and TCU.
So did former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, now at Texas Tech, and former AU defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads, now the boss at Iowa State.
They didn't have hard feelings. They had Auburn at No. 1 on their ballots.
Not Meyer.
He put Oregon No. 1 and Auburn No. 2.
Meyer knew that the final ballot would be released to the public. Was he trying to make a statement?
What does his vote say about him?
Also noteworthy: Jimbo Fisher voted Oregon #1 as well...

Urban's pussy still hurts?
Didn't think that Jimbo was a fan of us anyways.

He didn't leave on bad terms to my knowledge.

I thought he was a Bowden boy and thought "tater tot" got a raw deal?

You are right. Tubs sent him packing.

See, if this is the case, what the hell are you doing voting? You should vote based on your opinion of the quality of the team, not whether your ass is chaffed for some reason. I've long held that the coaches shouldn't have a vote anyway since everyone of them to a man will tell you they don't have time to focus on anything other than their own team and the next opponent. So Urban has broken down the Ducks? He really thinks they're better? That's his honest opinion?

Also, I just realized the Broyles Award banquet, for which Malzahn is a finalist (and I would think a favorite), is about to go down mid day today.
