Nice choice of words there Chris Low...
The Mississippi Secretary of State's office is continuing to interview people in connection with allegations that Cam Newton's father, Cecil Newton, solicited money in turn for his son to sign with Mississippi State last November.
Former Mississippi State players John Bond and Bill Bell have already met with Secretary of State officials, and a third former Mississippi State player, Kenny Rogers, is scheduled to meet with officials on Dec. 9. Rogers is the one who said he acted as the middle man and sent Bell a text message outlining the payment plan requested by Cecil Newton.
There have been no allegations of improprieties involving Auburn. Officials at Auburn have declined to comment about the situation for the past two weeks, and Newton has been placed off-limits to the media.
Per SEC rules, all players and coaches are required to be made available to the media following the SEC championship game on Saturday, and that includes Newton.
SEC commissioner Mike Slive has the discretion to fine a school if it violates the league's media policy following the SEC championship game.

If the SEC and/or the NCAA put the gag on Cam, then the rule doesn't apply.

Video about the fine and what not...

Good ol' Joe and Thayer will be there with raging erections.

Cam will have T Bell and Fairley alongside him....first rude/classless question, T Bell will DDP him/her. The second offense, Fairley will rip his/her arms off and beat 'em to death with them.
-
Again...it's at Mike Slives discretion if he wants to fine the Coach or University.
ESPN's running the ticker that if Cam doesn't talk, the University faces a fine. Lmao!!!! That's all they got now, give me a fuckin' break...Fuck ESPN.
I hope Cam does talk to the media, answers all of their questions with a huge smile followed by two words "No Comment". That would be absolutely HILARIOUS. Just "No Comment" through the entire time.

And that is probably closer to the truth then I think the media realizes. Cam will be prepped to give any question not about play on the field to be given the no comment shrug.

Fuck that...the media deserves nothing, not even answers about the game, from the eventual Heisman. I want him to "no comment" every question. Maybe start humming "Take the Money and Run", loud enough for the mic to pick it up.

I'd rather him act above the fray, instead of like those dickheads in Tuscloser that played that music.

Not to the bammer media, Thayer Evans included, that have repeatedly tried to ruin his and his father's life. Now, I'd like for him to talk to Jeffrey Lee, Mark Murphy, Bryan Matthews, Justin Hoke. Maybe just have a private Q&A with select media allowed.

I do think there will be a select few that will be allowed to ask questions.

"Talk or we'll fine you eleventy billion million dollars!"
