Title: What Will This Year's Iron Bowl Be Referred To As In The Future?
Post by: AUChizad on November 30, 2010, 10:19:26 AM
This is a topic almost overdue, but it's time everyone settles on the official name for this game.

The three listed in the poll, are the three I've heard the most.

My opinion? Camback indicates a little too much that Cam was solely responsible for the win. And it's a little corny. Choke, Bama, Choke? First of all, makes it sound like Bama threw the game away, as opposed to Auburn forcing the turnovers, and coming together and clicking on all cylinders. Also, it's a bit unoriginal, as if all that can define a great Iron Bowl in Auburn's favor is some derivation of  "Punt, Bama, Punt".

For this reason, I think the simple "The Comeback" should be the reference that brings to mind the 2010 Iron Bowl.

Thoughts? Other names you feel are more suited?

Somebody posted on Facebook that Pat Dye may have been wrong...it only takes 35 minutes to beat Alabama.

I say call it 35 Minutes.

Brief hijack.  Saw a sign that said, "Bama Stuff 28-27% Off"

Back on track.  The Comeback Game says it all.
