Cliffs:
1. Cam did not take any money nor did he know of any discussions of money between his father and Miss State folk.
2. The lawyer "suggests" (his word not mine) that Cecil, Jackie, and Cam have all been truthful with the NCAA.
3. Florida is going to have their chestnuts roasted over an open fire for leaking Cam's academic record.

Which lawyer would you rather have?
The one that just answers the questions in lawyer-speak?
Or the one that insinuates that his client is a dumbass?
“We are unequivocally saying that the entire thing was solicited by Cecil Newton and, unfortunately, (Rogers) stupidly became a rubber hose and passed it along,†said Doug Zeit, Rogers’ attorney, in a phone interview with The Clarion-Ledger on Thursday. “That’s what (Rogers) did. (He) never asked for money, other than what Cecil Newton wanted and how he wanted it.â€

In today's world...the Jay Evans of the world call you out for not speaking up for yourself, then when you do, the rest of the moron brigade joins in to call you a liar, and pick apart everything you say.

That's right!
The En See Double A.
So if nothing comes out tomorrow, we'll go through the same routine of rumors, allegations, and speculation up until Friday.

The "Wormwood" to all SEC foes is about to come. You best find your place, hiding from the sun.

Here's what's probably, likely going to happen here. The NCAA will never issue a PLOI. Certainly not to Auburn, and likely not to MSU. There's not a snowball's chance in hell Auburn gets one. MSU stands a slight chance of it. But until there's an official investigation, the NCAA will not issue any official statement on the Cam/Cecil Newton situation. One reason why is that as several non biased parties, at least 2 of whom I've heard opine and happen to be lawyers who deal in NCAA matters, as well as others who are not involved, have said that the act of soliciting money, in and of itself, isn't against any NCAA bylaw. Now, we've all heard that this NCAA spokeswoman has said "it's a violation". Well, as the unwashed masses are fond of saying when a lawyer speaks for his client and says "he's innocent"..."WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK THE NCAA WOULD SAY?" They're not going to say "Sure, as long as money doesn't change hands, you're all cool". But here's the bottom line. Shit like this doesn't become serious until some overt act, THAT CAN BE SUBSTANTIATED, occurs. Well, normally, that's a money trail that can be followed. The NCAA isn't going to come in and trash Cam's college career or Auburn's season, over conflicting stories about who said what regarding money that never changed hands. Not gonna fucking happen. BUT, they're not going to issue a statement that essentially condones the conduct either. They're going to quietly move on, look at Rogers, send scathing letters to Starkvegas telling them Rogers is perosona non grata as far as the NCAA is concerned, and that they better let Rogers know he's not welcome, and that Bell will be watched like a hawk. Then sometime after this has all died down to a murmur that is nothing more than bammers mumbling "Auburn cheated" as they sit drunk in their trailers watching bammer play in the Capital One Bowl, they'll amend some bylaws in the dark of night, and that will be that. And every few weeks Shane from Centerpoint will come on Finebaum and try to float out there that "any day now, the PLOI is coming to Auburn, Dye and McGregor will be arrested by the FBI, and Lee County will be blown back to the stone age."
JMHO, YMMV.
