Where's the big story to prove that Auburn is innocent, Cam is clean, and Cecil is a good father?
Because without that big story, Auburn takes a huge PR hit. It may not matter in the long run, I know, but public opinion does carry some weight.

I don't think AU will have anything to worry about beyond having to forfeit/vacate any game Cam participated in. The only reason anybody is even mentioning AU is because if the Newtons wanted money from MSU, and since Cam signed with AU, then naturally everybody assumes AU must have paid him. Personally, I don't think any program in the SEC is dumb enough to do this right now. With MSU's apparent eagerness to hang themselves in this whole deal, and all of the smoke surrounding it saying pops was brokering these deals, I'm just not so sure Cam is going to come out of this thing eligible. Which if that plays out, as Token said in another thread, is truly sad for AU because they didn't even do anything wrong.

Fuck public perception at this point, it is apparent at this point. We all know that there is a majority at ESPN that wants the Cinderella kid to be the prize possession to be the poster child this. Fuck that, this is about Auburn University and a young man that has put everything on the line this year. There are some pissed off sumbitches out there from MSU that wants nothing more to damage this young man, and that are some boosters that were willing to offer money to have MSU in the SEC Championship game. These same guys are the fuckers that are the only ones speaking to the media. Rogers will be the fall guy and MSU, AU will ride clear. Fuck it, I don't care at this point. If MSU wants to roll over on their own then so b it. i don't have any submission to MSU.
