Wow, wonder if the other polls will give LSU a dose of what they deserve?  AP didn't drop them but didn't move them up either.

If they're good enough, they can rectify that in the near future.

Also really shocked that Meechagin, at 5-0, hasn't vaulted in to the top 5, so ESPN can bill the OSU/UM showdown as the game of the century.

Good point. I'm betting that they will crack the top 10 easy before this game.

I think the Wolverines and Huskers take care of THE university and the Sooners later on. I don't like Oregon's  chances of coming out unscathed but the rest seem to be sitting pretty. Boise and TCU have to wait for a bowl  opponent or they can just play each other again.

I'm picking Nevada to the surprise team to beat Boise.

Hells Yeah...highest ranking in almost 4 years.  Plus Texas outta the Top 25 for the first time in a while.  I'm surprised that Oregon didn't jump Ohio State.

You speak your opinion, nothing more.  Though some might share portions of it, I doubt you'd find ANYBODY with any credibility that would agree with that "poll".

That's what is so fucked up about the system we have in place. Any of those teams listed could beat any of the others. Just because one poll is more mainstream than another doesn't make it more correct. Could S Carolina go out and beat Arizona tomorrow? Nobody has a damn clue yet we decide things like championships on these "opinions".

Damn this sport is ass backwards.

That would be a no they are ranked #9 right behind us.  Just another reason the coaches have NO BUSINESS posting a poll.

Actually, considering 2 teams ahead of them lost - LSU staying the same or only gaining 1 spot is the same as them losing position to the field.

But I do see your point. They have no business being ranked in the Top 15 and especially not in the Top 10.

Nebraska's 17-3 victory over South Dakota State this week dropped them a few spots in the Chad poll. Wins over Western Kentucky, Idaho, and Washington are not impressive enough to make up for that. That being said, they are probably in my #15 spot.

Boise...Hey at least I'm not putting them at 3 or 4. They at least beat VT, which although not saying much, says more than Nebraska's opponents.  Arizona is undefeated and gave Iowa their only loss. Iowa, meanwhile beat Penn State worse than bammer did.

My poll is just.

While I agree on the other of Neb's victories, they wiped the floor with the media's golden boy at Washington. I really think Pelini is looking ahead to some HUGE games.   Fair enough on Boise. I think they are a good, solid team - just not top 5 good.

The coaches have just about as much business posting a poll as chizad does.

Yeah, and BYU did too. In their only win. Losses include Air Force, Nevada, and Utah State.

Nebraska ain't much of shit. Heed these words.

Which pub? I know of a couple of good ones out there. But I must say that as a player, he shouldn't booze too much during their current hot streak.

the media's golden boy at Washington.

It's a new verse of that same old song:  Washington has this incredible QB who's going to win all the post-season awards and be a sure-fire first round pick.

Then, reality sets in:  It's UW...they suck.

Hugs and Kisses,

Isn't it pretty much any hyped up QB from the Northwest?

To add...

Harrington
Smith
Leaf
Bledsoe
and on and on and on....

Ok - so Bledsoe wasn't terrible but you get the drift.
