Even more interesting...Alabama's population is 4.7 Million.  California's is 37.1 Million. 

So about 1 in 175,000 Californians are in the NFL.   1 in 94,000 Alabamians in is the NFL.  In American Samoa there are 65,000 people, and 30 Samoans in the NFL, or 1 in 2166.
