Title: Town Haller to Obama: I'm Exhausted
Post by: Tiger Wench on September 20, 2010, 05:37:38 PM
Guess that hopey-changey thing did not work out too well for her either...

Quote
"I'm one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I'm exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for," a woman told President Obama at a town hall.

"My husband and I have joked for years that we thought we were well beyond the hot dogs and beans era of our lives, but, quite frankly, it's starting to knock on our door and ring true that that might be where we're headed again, and, quite frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer this honestly. Is this my new reality?," she added.

Great post Tiger Wench.  I had to laugh when I heard about this unplanned supporter.  Of course in his 30 minute reply The ONE never actually answered her question.

"these are the same failed policies of George Bush that got us into this mess"

If I had a dollar for every time I heard that, I would be in a higher tax bracket and getting taxed more next year.

Me and you both.

On a related subject Rush was just talking about the Dems and their media friends harping on the Republican 'Pledge' yesterday not being specific enough...this criticism coming from a bunch of Libtards who have refused to even set a budget for FedGov for this Fiscal Year.

I read something on the pledge about 30 minutes after it's release that was already criticizing it for the same thing.  Only one commentary flew into to what the pledge and that was the social mentionings of it.

They probably didn't even read it...you know - kind of like the Arizona Bill they criticized (before they read it) or even their own HC Bill.

"We have to pass the Healthcare Bill to find out whats in it...." - Nancy Pelosi

I think that the Republican Party might just recognize for a change what the voting, tax-paying, working (or not) public is currently most concerned about...'"It's the economy, stupid.'" and out-of-control FedGov spending...not "gay" marriage, gays in the military, DADT, pot legalization, affirmative action, smoke bans, pit bull bans, &tc....
