Damn, VT goes from 13th to 49th...so I guess they're out of the running for the National Championship.
Also, Auburn is #16 in the AP Poll.

That's Cool were getting some love from the polls. But there's no way were the 15th best team in the country.

I agree, we make stupid mistakes on both sides of the ball...but, those mistakes can be corrected, the best parts about those mistakes is that we've still won games while making them.
So, if you look at it like I do and like everyone else should, you ask yourself how Auburn would look if those mistakes wouldn't have been made at all...or if you just take away half of the mistakes. You do that, then you could see Auburn being in the Top 15-20, no doubt....We aren't on SPuat's level...I don't think anyone is...Texas? Nope. Oklahoma? Nope. Florida? Nope. Ohio State? Nope. Boise State? Nope. VT? LMAO. Oregon? Close (offensively).

We have potential, but the penalties and turnovers remind me of last year all over again. All of the issues can be corrected, leaving 21 points on the field will get us beat in the coming weeks. I'm starting to grow tired of the spread offense, especially after watching bammer run a pro-style offense up and down the field last night.

Boise lost their parentheses votes.

I know Alabama is as is repeated so often, a very well coached team that has few weaknesses and reloads but it would be easy to get caught up in all of that magnificence while listening to Brent Musburger go on about them as if they were Hannibal invading northern Italy. I mean I know they executed to perfection in the first half almost flawlessly but this is just the beginning and no team is infallible even if it comes with a professional narrator.

LSU is #12, and you're quibbling with our ranking? This is a fairly talented Auburn team from what I can see, but it's also not fully developed in it's personality. It could turn out to be a very good team, or a 7 to 9 win team. No way to know for sure yet, but they do need to improve a LOT.

I'm glad for the ranking, but I'm surprised we are ranked higher than USCe.

Anyone know the status of Reed and Stephens?

I was aware that Fannin and Ziemba were injured but not of the seriousness. Good to have Reed drawing attention and hope to have Stephens and Mincy too.

Word on da skreets is that Mincy and Stevens would be suited up for the Clemson game. I'd throw the redshirt on Mincy, unless one of the CBs go down.
With Stevens, I'd ease him back into it. Let him get back into the swing of things.
I'd also move Mosely over to the RT position.

It's been my observation through the years that there is a smaller gap from being the 11-35 team in the country than what there is between 1-10.
Now I would contend that we are somewhere in that second group right now. Usually there are not that many aggrieves errors when it comes to either group. The real fight comes trying to get into and stay in that first group.

I agree were not a top 15 team right now, but how many teams out there can you honestly say are top 15 or top 10 caliber right now?
No doubt Bama looks like the best team in the country. If Okl shows up every week like they did Saturday, then I def put them in the top 5, especially over Texas and Florida.
For Top 15, I can say Bama, tOSU, Nebraska maybe?, Oklahoma, Michigan maybe?, Oregon, perhaps TCU?, even SCe.
Texas, Florida, LSWho - hell no. Texas and Fla look like dogshit - fresh too.
Boise, Arky, Iowa, Wisc, Auburn - to me are all look inconclusive but I think all are top 10-15 capable.
