Why do I hear "It's a FULLLLLL PULLLLL!!!!!!" in my head every time I think about Ladarius clearing a hole at FB?
By the way, Sugarbear is down 3 lbs. He only weighs 288 now.

On the other side of the ball, linebacker Josh Bynes joked that it's not fun to have to look for the ball carrier and realize it's a 290-pounder coming at you full steam ahead. Bynes added that Phillips will only get better as the seasons go by.
"It's not like he's a sloppy 290-pounder," Bynes said. "He's big, but there ain't nothing sitting or sagging over his waistline. It's bulk. It's the upper ab muscles sticking out. So he's got a little strength, a little bulk to him for 280-290-pounds. I think he's going to be something to reckon with in another year or two."

Quick querstions. I was reading an article in this morning's paper about Kodi settleing in and feeling comfortable at receiver. It said that at the "5" receiver, he often is matched up against a linebacker and the other day, caught a long pass with 215 pound Josh Bynes on his hip. I thought it was a misprint or I read it wrong, but that's what it said.
Josh Bynes is not down to 215 is he? They had to be referring to Kodi and made a mistake.

In Ted Roof's defense you have to be light and fast.

If he's down to 215 and still can't cover a receiver, we are in deep caca.

I'm 99% certain they just got their wires crossed. He was bigger than that as a freshman.

Don't try and trick me with your facts and your stats. Josh Bynes is a skinny man, with really bad hair.
-
...or really great hair for his Predator persona. Dude looks meaner than shit.

So you're saying he's lost even more weight? Barnacles, we're going back to Tuberville mini linebacker days.

No - just the opposite....dude looked THICK...he was more than 15 lbs more than me.

Josh Bynes plays Mike, and if he's ever in coverage on a WR in a game situation, it's a mistake. He should never have to cover anything but a back out of the backfield in man coverage.

Not in Ted Roof's defense. You must be like water. Flow and adapt to the situation and team at hand.
