...of information that slips by during a relationship is funny.  So, me and my fiance are sitting here watching the derby, and she states out of nowhere, that her step brother was in a derby a few years ago.  Her father and step mother have not been real close, but recently the relationship has started to warm back up (that's a good thing).   

Anyway, I asked what derby.  She said the MLB one a few years ago.  Turns out, her step brother is Dan Uggla of the Florida Marlins.  Geez.

Kind of cool... Just surprised she never brought it up before knowing that I'm a big baseball guy.
