Looks like you folks in Alabama are headed for a Recount!  Tim James wants to be in the run-off.

Alabama Republican Tim James, who finished a narrow third in his state's GOP gubernatorial primary, is prepared to pay for a full statewide recount that could begin as early as Tuesday, his campaign told POLITICO.

James took just 208 votes fewer than second-place candidate Robert Bentley, a state representative, in the June 1 primary. Now, the businessman and son of former Gov. Fob James is asking for a new tally in all 67 of the state's counties in an attempt to edge into second place and compete in a runoff primary next month with first-place finisher Bradley Byrne.

Alabama Republican Party spokesman Philip Brian said the recount is likely to take place Tuesday, while cautioning that plans remain "fluid."
