Tits - I agree. Let the SEC stand the way it is. In football (the only sport that really matters), we run this show. Reshuffling the teams won't change that.
But it will change money. Especially after the Big 10 struck it rich with their own network. If they expand their market, their money will only increase.
The same with the Pac 10 - if they add Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado, they'll have a huge market. Sooners may not want to flip on a game of Stanford vs. Oregon St at 11pm, but do you really think they were turning on Iowa St vs. Texas Tech? I don't.
The SEC will have to keep up with the others if they do this. If we can add the four teams I mentioned before, we not only improve our conference and market, we get to keep our conference name - the SEC. The other conferences are going into different regions to create a superconference.
Well, I think we could give them the finger and remind them who runs this show.
