Folders are useful. Although I just went from 7 pages of apps to 1. I may have gone a bit overboard with my organizing.

Both features were previously available in jailbroken iPhones. Glad Apple is taking a queue from the l33t haxors.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to jailbreak again, almost immediately. I've read that it's already been done.

I don't think I'm going to be able to part with some of my paid apps.

Everyone I've spoken to has had no problems updating to IOS4.

Last night, I backed up my phone the regular way. Then I tried installing IOS4, and it makes me back up again. You can't skip the backup, either. I stared at that green bar not move a pixel for 3 hours. I finally went to bed with it running.

I woke up the next day and not shit had happened.

I want to punch a baby.

Problem is, now I have none of my metadata (most importantly my contacts) in my phone.

I'm restoring from backup, but now I am having the same exact problem trying to restore!!!

It added a whole bunch of shit to my backup folder, but that finally completed.

Now it's restoring. Supposedly only have about 2 minutes left.

Four and a half fucking hours later I made it out alive. And no taint.

I may have sweated my balls off in the hot sun for over half a business day while I was supposed to be working, but at least Apple supplied us with some bottled water and Chik-Fil-A.

Oh, and I got my iPhone 4.
