Auburn Football: Every Day... Returns With Weekly Webisodes

Webisodes to debut on May 10.

May 9, 2010

AUBURN - Auburn Football: Every Day..., the Emmy nominated documentary-style show produced by the Auburn ISP Sports Network, in association with Authentic Films, will return this spring with a month-long series of webisodes at AuburnTigers.com.

The webisodes, which will air three times a week beginning on May 10, chronicle the Tigers' winter workouts and spring practice. Auburn's spring practice wrapped up April 19.

The multi-weekly webisodes will give Tiger fans a look at the inner workings of the Auburn football program and will chronicle the Tigers offseason journey.

So does that mean we're not going to get the full fall show, just a couple of web clips?

"Emmy nominated"?  Really?  I ddin't hear about that.  Pretty cool.

I hope they do more than webisodes, but it's probaly not easy trying to sell little broken up series like this, when it only runs six to eight weeks, then a football season later in the year.  Not too much of a market like it is in the fall for the networks to pick it up.

Just guessing...

Well, that's what I'm wondering. Are they definitely going to pick it up again in the Fall? I certainly hope so.

It seems like since they're doing these spring webisodes, that they're trying to hold you over for the new fall season. But it may be that they're doing these webisodes in lieu of the actual series.

I want this series on DVD with the webisodes as bonus features.

Outstanding!  You could see Newton in some leadership roles.  Good to see that he's more vocal than he appears in other interviews.  Also good to see him as one of the "best 5" on the tug-of-war against the defense....and winning.

Is it only the first segment?

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said, "Guys don't mind hitting Michael Vick in the open field, but when you see Cam, you have to think about how you're going to tackle him. He's like a big tight end coming at you."

You can watch them through AU's Facebook page also.  Seemed to be a better connection and picture also.

Actually all the webisodes and intro videos...even the new Auburn Arena's video they played at A-Day is on there.  A good video from the AU vs. WV is there also.
