"Gimmie the Car" - Violent Femmes
"Feels So Good" - Van Halen
I am not sure there is a bad Femmes song, if you like the Femmes.

I was back on an 80s kick again today - trying to recover from the enforced Zappa onslaught during vacation (driver gets to pick the music and the passenger has to wrangle the kids.  I was passenger - I was fucked.)

ANYHOO... rotated through Heart's Greatest Hits Album on the way in this morning.  First song of the day was Living Inside Myself by Gina Vannelli tho...

I need to make a Bitches of 80s Rock playlist - Joan Jett, Patty Smyth, Heart, Pat Benetar, Lita Ford... major ass kicking music...

I saw Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and Heart in concert.  All at different times and all in Auburn. Heart was ausome and it was prior to Annie Wilson swelling up like a damn blowfish.

My doctor told me I needed to stop masturbating.  I asked him why, and he said, "because I'm trying to examine you."

I hear she swallows a lot of aggression.

There were some old timers around Camp Pendleton who swear Anne and Nancy used to jam on base when their father was stationed there.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

I saw Joan last October in Destin at the Seafood Festival.

She still rocks.  She even did a cover of the 'Mats "Androgynous".  It was awesome.

You can keep a wooden stake in your trunk
On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

The Twilight Eclipse soundtrack.  Say what you will about the movies, the music is awesome - lots of alternative music and indie bands.  Muse,  Metric, Fanfarlo, The Black Keys, Eastern Conference Champions, Cee Lo Green, Sia... it is as good as the last soundtrack.  I am finding lots of new artists I never would have tried before, and that is pretty cool.  Especially Muse - they are my favorite new discovery.

Does "Don't Stop Believing" count if I just saw a rerun of the Sopranos finale again?
