You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Tough call.

I think I'd have to go with Master.  But you're talking to someone that even liked St Anger.  But their latest album was much better than St Anger, maybe their best one since the Black Album.

Their live album, S&M, may be my favorite live album.  Such a unique concept, that really works.

All in all, Master is one of my favorite albums, with Back in Black up there with it.

I thought after the Black album they lost something that made them Metallica.  I don't know what it was, but it wasn't the same for me........then along came Death Magnetic and it was like I was listening to Master, Lighting and Justice all over again.   St. Anger was a bit heavier and like the old Metallica, than anything after Black.  I don't know if losing Newstead and picking up Trujillo had anything to do with that or not.  I don't know the back story on that one.  To me Justice was the complete album, top to bottom not a bad song imo.

Damn fine song and didn't realize that Trujillo was playing the bass.

Speaking of Trujillo, I thought this was a good one.   Funny when Hetfield told Hammett his gig was in jeopardy.

Quick NC story.  A buddy of mine and his two sons were big Creek heads and saw them several times.  They played an outdoor concert in Auburn several years back and my buddy hung around afterward.  They went walking by the tour bus and out walks Chris Thile, mandolin in hand.  He talks to them and then sits down and starts playing.  Sean and Sara Watkins walk out and join in.  They sit around jamming outside their tour bus and gave my friends son a camera and asked him to video it since they like to capture moments on the road.  Sara Watkins wrote about it on their website.

I saw them in Montgomery and tried the same thing but I got arrested for stalking.

When you walk around a tour bus naked, they usually arrest you.
