You are a right moderate social authoritarian.
Right: 7.39, Authoritarian: 1.42

I would guess that i am 1.42 authoritarian due to the responses concerning abortion.  Not surprised that I am so far right.

I used to be pro-choice.  I think it all depends on when you think life begins.  To me, life begins at conception.  I was in the room with my wife when she was 7 weeks pregnant and I saw the little flicker of my daughter's heartbeat on the screen.  She had her own unique DNA.  To me, she was a person.

I still waffle on the death penalty issue.  Today I'm against it, tomorrow I might be for it.  It's an issue that doesn't weigh heavily on me either way.

If your daughter was killed and raped by some sicko pedophile, I would imagine your opinion would change.  Remember, it may not have happened to you, but is happening to others and those fuckers should be executed without question.

Which is exactly why I still waffle on the issue.

I'd like to think that I'd be level-headed enough to know that killing that person wouldn't bring my child back.

However, if God forbid anyone ever does harm my child, they won't have to worry about the death penalty.  I am a sadistic motherfucker, and I promise you I would choke them to death with their own cock.

Remember, I am soulless by birth.

Strike through the anti-death penalty line and I am 100% in line with your POV. My take one that lone point of contention is that we don't use it often enough. I'm pro hanging and pro electric chair.
Fiscally, I'm as conservative as they come.  I want VERY limited federal government.  I believe in the 10th amendment and states' rights.  I am for unfettered capitalism and low taxes.

I depart from the Republican Party in a lot of social issues.  For instance:

  • I believe all drugs should be legal.  Not that I want to sit around my house hopped up on heroine or anything, I just don't think it's the government's place to tell me what I can or cannot put in my own body, as long as I'm not hurting anyone but myself.
  • If you are gay and want to get married, go for it.  I don't give a shit.  Pack fudge until the cows come home for all I care.
  • I am pro-life, but I believe that being pro-life means being pro-life across the board, so therefore I don't believe in the death penalty.

As you can see, I don't really fit in with any political party (except maybe the Libertarians).  I just want government out of my life as much as possible.

Public hangings and public canings would put many on the fence back to the good side. Once we were a country that had somewhat fair and immediate justice. Now that we have evolved, we can have fair and immediate justice. 10 years to kill a killer is too long. The only people that benefit are the lieyers.

Hard labor is another thing we need to bring back. A person in prison should work so hard that at the end of the day, they collapse in their cot. Not bed, but cot. Soldiers get a cot, why do prisoners get a bed?

We have too many gray areas created by laws riddled with lieyer holes. IF the punishment was so harsh that the offender never wanted to go back, then more offenders would strive to avoid prison at all costs. How the hell did I get off on this?

Five statements of WISDOM
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

Sorry. I did not look the word up. I am just an ignorant redneck who wants to shoot everyone. My opinion is not enlightened enough to be heard. I'll go back to chewing my tobakky and rocking on my porch now. You kids stay hell off my lawn, OK. I might have to write a negative article about it to get you to stop. And then you'll all be in big trouble.

Some of the questions were worded with a bias, or with possible answers that don't completely reflect one's views, but overall, it was pretty good.

One example for me was the one dealing with gay marriage.  If I say I don't oppose it, as was one of the choices, the you might think me a liberal.  But, if you ask me further, I'd explain that I don't care if they want to marry, or if some church wants to recognize the marriage.  The government isn't obliged to legally recognize it as a marriage, nor is any private entity, such as an insurance company obliged to do it either.   Marriage by any definition I can find is between a man and woman, and gays aren't entitled to any speical priviledges because they choose to deviate from social, and religious norms.  But if they want to be married in the eyes of some entitiy that will recognize it, I fully support them in that.  If insurance companies, for example, decide to recognize it then that's their decision, but the government shouldn't force them to.

A centrist social moderate?  Weird.

The grammar errors killed me.  Also, there was definite bias in some of the questions and the simple "agree-neutral-disagree" answer choices were insufficient.

Does it not reflect your views?  Is that what's ridiculous?  Are you really more left, do you really believe in less government...or is your "ridiculous comment directed at your "read as" comments?  Because YOU inserted those.  The graph merely plotted you and gave you 2 of 4 possible lables.
