I'm in.  Be skeered when you play 2 Balls 1 Bat.  It could get messy.

Are we doing the live draft or auto-draft?
I can't believe you didn't go for such a sweet deal...two pitchers for that no talent Papelbon.

It's in their name - if they did bow down to a man, then they would be called The Chodeguzzlers instead

What is an average final score between a matchup?

for our league there are 10 stats (5 batting & 5 pitching) being tracked.

batting:  runs, homers, rbis, steals and average

pitching: wins, saves, strikes, era and whip (walks and hits per inning pitched)

for every stat a team leads,  that team gets 1 point.  if both teams are tied in a stat no points are awarded.

if you lead at the end of our matchup in runs, homers,  average, wins, strikes and era you get 6 points.

then

if i lead in rbis, steals, saves and whip i get 4 points.

for the week you beat me and will be awarded a win for the win column.

at the end of the week if you and i are tied (5 stats you lead and 5 stats i lead) then our record will reflect a tie.  that is why there is win, loss and tie column on the teams front page.

if i wrote this and you knew it all along then go  :fu: yourself.

disclaimer::  don't worry ogre, the whip column doesn't represent how often jumbo  :s&m: you per week.

i know that didn't directly answer your question. most leagues i have played it has been 6 to 4.

i rock at teh yahoos fantasy baseball.

I just learned everything I needed to know about fantasy baseball.

I'm glad that the whip doesn't reflect how often jumbo  :s&m: me per week.  If that was the case, I'd be undefeated.

Also, each "game" between players lasts one week. Monday-Sunday. I believe this first "game" is two weeks long because of the weird regular season games played in Japan this week.

One correction to chinooks post.

I'm pretty sure your record isn't just whether you won the game or not...but what the score was. Say at the end of the first match-up I am leading 7-3...my record would show 7-3. So it not only matters whether you win or not, but how much you win/lose by.

No talent Papelbon?  He's already got me a save and a strikeout.  I don't trade bad ass closers for minor league pitchers...

Face it, you're a dumbass.

I'll be generous here.  I'm going to give you one more chance to make the trade with me.  If you're interested (and why wouldn't you be?) post it here and I'll set up the deal.  All you have to do is press the 'Accept' button.
