False. I like the South. I like living here and I like the culture. What I don't like (and this goes for any state and politics) is that people don't think for themselves. I'm from Alabama, I listen to Rush Limbaugh, I'm conservative.
Now, I'm not saying that is everyone...but a lot of people are like that. If you want to be conservative, republican, democrat, socialist, that is fine with me. Just think it out first, and use your own reasoning to do so...
The whole reason I get into this conversations is because the majority of people here are conservative, some more than others. I just feel that a counter point should be presented in every debate or it isn't truly a debate. Oh yeah, and because I disagree with you guys.
Real talk?
Who, on this website, isn't reasonable? Therein lies the problem. It's not that people can't think for themselves, it's that you think you and a few others are the
only people capable of thinking for themselves. The very minute someone didn't agree with your position on Tim James, the redneck comments started to fly. Not a single person, at any time, declared they were going to vote for Tim James because of that one talking point. Not one. But because a few people didn't disagree with his position, they were automatically labeled rednecks, which has been the issue all along.
There isn't a single person involved in any of these discussions that I truly believe can't think for themselves....because I don't believe that my position is 110% correct no matter what. My opinion can be changed, and it changes daily through discussion and knowledge.
If you really believe that some here aren't capable of thinking for themselves because their position isn't in line with yours or a few others, then you guys are the one's with the problems.
