Arguing against the status quo is one thing. Starting an elitist mentality, "you're wrong if you don't agree with my assessment" pissing contest is another. You can generalize all you want on the back patting but you know good and well that I don't subscribe to any "club" or status quo. I don't fall in line. I'm gonna tell you what I think. If the status quo is rational discussion about a topic, while respecting alternative opinions and perspectives without resorting to personal attacks, you're right.
