I hate to agree with Prowler here...but I played on a team where Rock coached...and as dumb as it looks typed out, I am pretty sure Prowler nailed this one.

And unlike Prowler and Jumbo and a couple of others, I am not a fan of Rocker. I like him because he is a good coach at Auburn and was an all time great on the field, but I think he is a fucking prick. Or he at least acted like that to me...

He's a fucking prick, but his d-line would run through a wall for him. His shitbird line makes me laugh so many years later.

Pretty sure "shit bird" was something he picked up from Wayne Hall. Although, I had a drill sgt. that used to call just about everyone shit bird at one time or another...so it's not that uncommon I don't guess.
