He's sucking Saban like everyone else. Okay so what is the deal with the eleyfant? I admit it would look a little weird to an outsider with Auburn being the Tigers and having an eagle as an additional mascot. But, once you know the tradition behind it, most get it. But how did they decide to name themselves after off colored water that rises and recedes and then add an eleyfant as the mascot?

First of all...a question. The basis of this thread was a POST on Tigerdroppings? I know it could not have been an article....not on that corndog board...so somebody pulled a POST and acted like it was an article? Fucking ridiculous. It seems any bammer, no matter how stupid, is capable of bama spin. Comforting.

Most reference an event back in the 30's which referenced the size of some of the Alabama players. They were apparently very large. This of course is the opposite of how Godfather's nickname "Big Dick" was derived but you weren't asking about the developments of comedic irony.

When was it referenced as an article? When was it talked about as being from an article? When did anyone say anything at all about it being from an article?
