The $30M was hush money to keep her from telling the world that he is allegedly gay.  Supposedly that is an open secret in NASCAR circles... and I did not hear that from someone who hates Jeff Gordon.  This person was in one of the high roller suites at the Indianapolis Speedway during a race.  Lots of NASCAR big guys there, and that was a point of discussion.

Berkman is in the minors right now doing rehab - ALLEGEDLY he will be back Thursday... but there is still swelling in the knee... so who the hell knows.  If he was smart, he'd stay in the minors and avoid being associated with this clusterfuck of a season.

So much for my Astros skreets - Berkman was back LAST night and had a good game.  A double and two RBIs.  They actually managed to win their first home game of the season over the Marlins, but in craptastic fashion as usual.  They had a four run lead in the 9th and only won by two... pathetic...
